America Abandoned By God!

This is a portion of a timely message by Dr. John MacArthur. America has been abandoned by God, and we have been left to wallow in the sexual perversions of the depravity of the human heart.

Truth is the ONLY solution. Repent America, and take heed to the Word of God. A famine of hearing the Word of God will never produce revival. Ministers, take a stand for truth no matter what it may cost you!

  4. America abandoned God.!!!. We have turned our back on Him, kicked Him out of the public arena, refused to allow His word into our schools and now we are reaping what WE have sown, and still the majority refuses to repent.

  7. I think we should be careful and understand common grace. To be abandoned by God would be final destruction. Being sovereign, he upholds even the most rejecting nations. Common grace keeps unbelieving sinners from his wrath. Consider that if there was even one righteous person, God promised to pity Sodom. God will not abandon any nation for the sake of a single believer. This is why evangelism and foreign missions are so important to spread opportunities to nations to repent and to have saving grace more than common grace. God will be glorified. Is God…God? Man cannot change that with the “power of suggestion”. Pray for mercy for sinners. Only God can save man with his spirit through his son Jesus Christ. Pray as Christ did in his final moments. Showing pity for the sinners he cried “Father forgive them, … they know not what they do”.

  8. God has not abandoned America, although the nation has abandoned Him. He waits to be gracious, to heal, to forgive. And He’s placed the antidote for a diseased nation squarely into the hands of His people, those who call themselves by His name. The cure? Humble yourselves, pray, seek God’s face and turn from your own wicked ways. THEN He will hear, forgive and heal the land. Judgement begins in the house the the Lord.

  9. bring bread, thank you for stopping by. However, I believe you err greatly in your perspective, especially after visiting your blog. America is not a wayward daughter as you claim. America is not a child of God and only those who have placed their faith in Him by grace through faith alone and repented and confessed their sins can claim such a relationship. 2 Chron. 7:14 does have principles that can be seen to be beneficial, but this verse was written in regards to the nation of Israel, not the nation of America. All the promises and conditions found in this verse do not apply to America. I would recommend re-reading the Psalms and the Old Testament prophets before making comments that God loves America. God’s wrath will befall all who stand opposed to Him. Salvation is an individual basis, not on a corporate level. How can we claim that God loves America when we have the wickedness and the abominations that are so prevalent?

    Don’t forget about rampant greed, heterosexual fornication, and adulterous remarriage in the professing church.

    Ali, dear saint, I do not know who this WE you are referring to is, but I can assure you as an american citizen I have not turned my back on him! Also, the only public arena we are called to bring God into is out street evangelizing and meeting with other saints in a locality that people may see us and know we are one. Anything beyond that is a matter of personal conviction. Why should the world allow his word into it’s schools anyway? Maybe the greater problem is that western christendom does not believe or obey His word.
