Zimzum?

From Wikipedia — “The Tzimtzum (Hebrew צמצום ṣimṣūm “contraction/constriction/condensation”) is a term used in the Lurianic Kabbalah teaching of Isaac Luria, to explain his new doctrine that God began the process of creation by “contracting” his infinite light in order to allow for a “conceptual space” in which finite and seemingly independent realms could exist.”

Rob & Kristin Bell – The Heresy of Zimzum

Yes, folks, the same Rob Bell who does not believe in a literal hell has produced another book that Oprah and her syncophants will love to read. His latest drivel is based on teachings directly from the heresy known as Kabbalah which has followers including Madonna, Ivana Trump, Demi Moore, and Mick Jagger.

However, this was not what caught my attention. It was what takes place at the 29 minute mark of the video found at the above link. For your further disgust, Oprah also speaks to Rob about when she thinks the Church apostate church will open up to fully embrace and accept homosexuality. The answer will not surprise you. If you can manage to watch the video all the way to the end, otherwise, simply forward the video to around the 29 minute mark.

Quote read by Kristin from the book —

“Marriage – gay and straight – is a gift to the world because the world needs more not less love, fidelity, commitment, devotion, and sacrifice.”

And listen to this jewel from the lips of this diligent Bible teacher depraved heretic –

“The church will continue to be even more irrelevant when it quotes letters from 2,000 years ago as their best defense.”

Yet, what is even sadder than what Rob & Kristin Bell are promoting is the fact that many within evangelical circles are buying their books thinking it is great theology. May God have mercy and grant forgiveness for pastors who have failed in their work as shepherds and on congregations for believing and following every whim of doctrine.

  1. It is just *awful*!! I heard a sermon by Paul Washer once and he is so right….these false teachers are judgment upon our country…Bell, Osteen, Hinn, Jakes…. How do people not see them for what they are??? Wolves! 😦

  2. The Church (being the believers and not the building )in his opinion are irrelevant! The word of God he is also saying is irrelevant & so shocking for someone claiming to be Christian to speak of Gods word as out of date letters.
I’ve never watched anything by Oprah before, I did see some of rob bells videos before, when someone was trying to bring heresy into our former church. It was so obvious that he is a false teacher then, and just as obvious now. He doesn’t mention scripture but his own ideas of “spirituality “

  3. I read about this nonsense a while back. Nothing that Rob Bell and his ilk do surprises me anymore – though I am grieved that so many believe them to be Christian leaders and are deceived horribly.

  4. Rob Bell’s statement calling the word of God “letters from 2,000 years ago” should tell us all we need to know about Mr. Bell. It was obvious that Rob Bell turned his back on God years ago, but this statement shows how far into the depths of the world he has slid. We shouldn’t be shocked at his words, we should be praying for him, what we should be shocked at is “Christians” who listen to his foul teachings.

  5. Sometimes even demons get tired of such tricks…

    Acts 19:13-16 (NIV)
13 Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” 16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.

  6. Rob Bell has been at this for some time now, and hopefully one day we will be rid of the post modernists and emergents with their culturally relevant methods of bringing acceptance to the masses. What annoys me most about this though, is their insistence on doing this in God’s name, the’re not doing whatever the’re doing in God’s name,if God is the same yesterday , today and forever, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that God still hates the same things He did 2000 yrs ago.
