FOR THE RECORD — DEFCON STANDS OPPOSED TO THE SUPREME COURT!!!
No matter what the Supreme Court says, there is One Who is supreme above all men and governments, and He has stated that homosexuality is an abomination. It is a very sad day for America that the moral foundations upon which this nation were built has just been trashed and trampled underfoot. If there is no repentance and forgiveness sought from God, there will be no mercy.
Despite the horrendous news that our beloved nation has taken a huge leap toward the pit of being an amoral society, I am SO THANKFUL that there are some things that will never change.
1. God is STILL sovereign.
2. God knew the Supreme Court would stand against His Word. He is NOT asleep and is not slumbering.
3. Psalm 2 reminds us that while the rulers and kings stand against the Lord and His Anointed One (Jesus Christ), He laughs at them and holds them in derision.
4. Jesus Christ is still Lord of all and one day EVERY knee will bow.
5. True believers will remain a minority because Matthew’s gospel reminds us that the gate to heaven is narrow and few find it.
6. Romans 8 reminds us that NOTHING will ever separate us from the love of God, not even persecution or death.
7. 2 Timothy 3:12-14, “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it.”
8. Romans 1:18 & 32 are still a sobering reminder that the wrath of God is coming, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.”
9. The apostles made it clear that they were going to obey God rather than man. DefCon also chooses to obey God rather than man.
10. Biblical marriage will ALWAYS be only between one man and one woman.
11. Homosexuality and lesbianism WILL ALWAYS be an abomination to God, and nobody who chooses such a lifestyle will ever be granted admission to heaven, nor will those who give approval to those who practice such deviant lifestyles.
12. So much more to say, but a last thing to remember is that there is forgiveness by grace through faith alone in Christ alone.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11, “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

May the Lord have mercy on those of us who love Him when He does judge our nation. We need to keep saying what the Bible teaches us about holiness and righteousness. I pray and thank our Lord that He gave His children the strength to remain faithful by His Spirit. Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.
I also believe that when a man and woman marries if they are not married in the Lord that the marriage means nothing to God. I have watched some television shows where there no mention of our Lord during the vows. That’s not a marriage considering that from the beginning the Lord instituted marriage. No one has the right to redefine what marriage is or decide not to acknowledge the Creator who set marriage in order.
Another dynamic is how so many professing Christians refuse to cry aloud against those things that our Lord hates. We never hate people but I notice that in this world of insanity, once you disagree you automatically hate them. That is not true. We speak because we love and understand that our Lord is correct. He is ALWAYS correct!
I am so sad about this but my faith is increased because the Lord told us that lawlessness will increase. Even during these days of evil our Lord shows that His word is faithful and true.

With regards to this decision by the Supline Court, I do not believe there will be much of any reaction from the majority of pulpits this Sunday, thanks to their taking on the Government’s 501(c)(3) tax status, making their church a licensed “person” under the control of the government. If you will, they have a franchise. They were the first ones to trample the rights given us by God and codified by the Constitution. Here they are:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
Can you see that when it says “Congress shall make no law…” That means they have no jurisdiction! If you have opportunity, ask an IRS agent if they have authority over a non 501(c)(3) church and they must tell you NO! Or they must tell you WRONG! However, once they take the 501(c)(3) they place themselves under the authority of government. It is a license to do business a certain way, subject to the (ever changing) laws of the “state” IE Federal Government. They have dim wittingly given what is God’s to Caesar! This is the very essence of the difference between liberty/ freedom and license/subjection!
Back in the day you would have received a certificate of marriage before God from the Pastor. Now you get a state license and it is the same one a magistrate would give you via a civil ceremony.
During the Revolutionary War, the government licensed preachers were pro-England. Why? For that was who they derived their authority from. It was the unlicensed “black robed” brigade preachers who actually lead the Revolution!
The Pilgrims carried the Geneva Bible, for they knew who King James and the rest were!
Today “protestant” ministers can be seen uniting with government, including with the papist’s, even declaring the “protest” over! And from where I sit, it appears, for the most part that this has become a sad reality…
What percent of these franchises will declare a prayer and fast for God’s intervention in this abomination!?!? Thus, what remains, is judgment, and lest we forget, judgment begins at what labels itself, “The House Of God” and it’s pulpits.

I guess for most, their protest is over, but for us it has just begun, and it is our Lord’s battle we stand united in.

True Mickey, but to be fair there hasn’t been much reaction to rampant divorce and remarriage, patriotic idolatry, and many other sins among their own people for years.

But the fun begins when the jesus Inc. franchises, after paying the news mealy mouthed lip service, and no shoe leather, find they will be forced to marry and bury all who come to them, or lose their free housing allowances and tax free status along with NGO money, unless they keep their knee bowed to their god and it’s ever changing laws. Soon they will go from blessing the animals services to…um….marrying them to their human owners.
But the good news for these folks is that their latest income stream will be from FEMA pastoring as they lead into captivity their flock, yet be banned from telling them about Jesus.
The documents are freely available on the net regarding Romans 13 out of context (Hitlers favorite verse) and FEMA trained pastors…

So, have you seen the rainbow symbol at the top of your stats page? What do you think? I am moving to blogger, hopefully more believers will stand up and do the same. I know it’s a lot of work, but to have something like that crammed down our throats is unacceptable. It’s also unacceptable to take it and hope it goes away.

Trust me, this is much farther reaching than most folks can currently wrap their heads around.
God has allowed the lines to be clearly drawn. Either you serve God or you serve man. Preacher and parishioner will have to choose. The great falling away has had the skids greased and things will slide much faster now.
Gutless wonders will be revealed, and then become dogmatic against biblical Christians, for they will chose their life over The Life. God’s Word is absolutely true, and playing out perfectly before our very eyes…that is those who have eyes to see!

Paul the slave, I agree with you. It is just as unacceptable as the colored lights on the White House. I wish I knew more about all the various webhosting services and how to program better. I am not sure how to get everything to Blogger, but I am going to look into it. By the way, do you know where they stand on the issue of homosexuality?

Well, I can imagine blogger being hosted by Google us just as pro-gay as WordPress, but at least they didn’t shove it down our throats. I was shut down on their forum yesterday and basically told to live with it. I was also told that it wouldn’t be there today, and yet, there it is. I know it’s a whole mess load of work, but I think we need to make a statement here. We will lose subscribers, traffic and such, but I feel like Lot here. Get out of town before it’s destroyed. If we try to ignore it, then we are supporting it.

No church plant we have ever started has ever taken a 501(c)(3) status either. I am free to share every portion of the Scriptures in our little services. Praise the Lord that there are others who have not bowed the knee to Baal.
Yes, it is going to cost pastors one way or the other. You can accept the dictates of the government and its controls, or you can follow the dictates of a good conscience and serve God.
Fleebabylon, I would have to state that some have stood firm against the rampant divorce and other sins, but few listen. The evil one is smart. If he can get the church to focus on the “big” social issues of the day, the “little ones” become easier to swallow. Before too long, the little ones are accepted whole-heartedly because it is “the lesser of the evils.” However, they fail to understand that by accepting the “little” issues, you have automatically said to all around that the “big” ones are also acceptable.

Brother, this is not biblical and putting false condemnation on believers. Let’s look at what the original Paul the slave had to say on this matter of ‘christian boycotts’:
I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. Yet I certainly did not mean with the sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. We are only commanded to withdraw from sexually immoral people who call themselves brethren otherwise we would have to physically leave the earth. On the other hand we MUST withdraw from all ministries and professing believers who support sexual perversion.

Psalm 94:20 “The throne of iniquity…frameth mischief by a law.” I cannot bear the sight of the White House awash in the abominable colours after the Court judgment. Incidentally, I saw on the news the president breaking out into Amazing Grace in the Charleston church. What a hypocrite. Our church in Singapore prayed this morning for the Christians in America who are still convicted that God does not change His judgment on an abomination. Same-sex union is sweeping across the world, and soon it will hit our shores.
