Give me four years to teach the children…

Vladimir Lenin infamously declared, “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” The national indoctrinationgovernment of this country, formerly known as these United States of America, wants our children from age 5 – 18, 22 if they can get it. Do we think this education is morally neutral? Or is there a system within and of the world that works iniquity and never sleeps?

Colin Gunn has published a movie that aims to educate Americans about the dangers of government education. Parents are not to be condemned but educated about this arena. To that end, Gunn offers this movie for free viewing from 22 – 31 December.

Here’s a note from Colin:

This season, as people spend time at home together, we hope that families will take the time to watch and share our movie with loved ones, especially those that need to hear the truth about the American public school system and decide whether they should continue using them.

Even in the last few years we have seen a dramatic decline in the school system making our message all the more urgent. We’ve recently seen astonishing moves by the educational establishment, with the Department of Education’s full-on support of the Supreme Court ruling on homosexual marriage, and in recent months, a significant campaign to normalize transgender lifestyles to our youth. The public schools have gone from bad to worse, and there are no excuses left.

Now is the time to act. Please take the time to share our message through your emails and social networks. Go here: www.watchindoctrination.com/free

I pray you take the time to watch the movie. Don’t allow the prince of the air to rule your children. Be informed and prepared.

  1. Will check it out Manfred.

That whole system is largely a pit of hell. Disobedient foul mouthed children, God hating teachers, sexual perversion, evolution, abortion, etc. I believe the majority of true believers could home-school their children with a little sacrifice. We need to start teaching this as the default option rather than sending them to public schools. I know there are cases where it is just not possible and do not condemn any saint who public schools. Also, I’ll go so far to suggest that the wealthy in the local church should help support the financially struggling family so mom can stay at home with the children if there is such a financial need.

Also, and I hate to sound patriarchal, but dads should consider learning a trade (ANYTHING from heating-cooling to software development) and teaching it to their children as part of the home-school curriculum. This may not always be possible, or even God’s will, but it is a better default path to choose than public school, college, debt, etc in many cases.

  2. I agree with Mickey Merrie and Jim. If one examines the historical record, there is to be found an uncanny “coincidence” between the timing and the published goals of the humanist mob and the infant NEA. Fathers should teach their children much, rather than abandon them to the state.

As with Katy, I have this movie and highly recommend it.

  3. I read this quote in a book about the clash between church and culture:

“The schools cannot allow parents to influence the kind of values-education their children receive in school; that is what is wrong with those who say there is a universal system of values. Our (humanistic) goals are incompatible with theirs. We must change their values.” (Paul Haubner, specialist for the N.E.A. (National Education Association)

The hubris of some educational professionals is stunning.

2 of probably 50+ incidents in the past couple of months. Anyone who thinks these are just foolish folk are sadly mistaken!

  5. I am well aware of the tendency within this once-fine nation of so-called educators pushing parents to the curb, much as “youth pastors” have done in far too many churches. All I know if that God is not mocked and all will give an answer to Judge on that great and terrible day of the Lord!

  7. From the lighthouse trails page

“Organic Church: Often called a house church or simple church movement; different from “going to church.” The organic church sees itself as new, vibrant, and unique, not like the “outdated” traditional church.”

This is really ironic and indicative of the error, leaven and blindness that lighthouse and the reformed crowd in general are deluded by. Their traditional churches look more like little harlot daughters of Rome than that laid down by Christ and the apostles. They are probably in more error on this subject than even the lowly emergents. Most of them go so far as to point to buildings and call it a church. They have no clue on the very thing that Christ died for. Perhaps they should take the log out of their own eye before trying to come against the error of others on this particular subject.

  8. Great documentary. I have a copy myself, watched it several times over the years, and shared it with others.

A memorable quote that stuck with me was by John Gatto, an award-winning educator of the New York school system (if I remember correctly)…

Is there an idea more radical in the history of the human race than turning your children over to total strangers, whom you know nothing about, and having those strangers work on your child’s mind out of your sight for a period of twelve years? Could there be a more radical idea than that?

Back in the colonial days in America, if you had proposed that as an idea, they’d burn you at the stake, you mad person. It’s a mad idea.

That seemed to me to sum up the perspective on the public school system: Strangers indoctrinating your children in a government-driven agenda outside the supervision of their parents. Frightening.

God bless any parent who is willing to make the sacrifices necessary to get their child out of the God-hating, soul-poisoning, immoral sewers that many public schools have become.

  11. Flee/Man I have also sent links from D/C articles to Lighthouse. Most recently the current series on Pastors.

  13. We are convinced that homeschooling our children is a way that God is using to educate us as parents alongside our children and to heal us from years of godless socialist feminist and emasculating influences. This February we shall be celebrating 1 year of homeschooling and what a difference it has made in our lives. I recently “amazed” myself by passing an impromptu pop quiz by a preacher to list the ten commandments in their order. A year ago I only knew they were somewhere in Exodus, that’s all, but after going over the children’s catechism everyday for a year, I too have learnt many biblical truths and after so many daily memory scripture drills, I too am “hiding God’s word in my heart that I might not sin against Him” Psalm 119:11. Through centering our homeschooling on the Bible, we have fallen soooo in love with God’s word that I steal quiet random moments in the day to just catch 20 minutes of bible reading just because it fills me with joy. Beloved take this opportunity to teach your children so that as you extol the wonders of God to them and watch their little faces beam in awe, you too can rediscover the truths about God that are in His word, revealed in nature and crescendoed in Christ Jesus.
