Profits for Prophets

This is a video compilation that epitomizes so many of the problems with the most visible parts of the “Church” today.

To those unbelievers who watch this stuff, give me just a moment of your time to say this: What you saw in this video is NOT Christianity. It is a corrupt and vile counterfeit and complete heresy and these men and women will have so much to answer for on the day of judgment. There will be so many souls that will end up in hell because of the lies spread by these snakes that it would be better for them to never have been born. Please don’t be one of them. Please don’t let the apostasy that you see in these false prophets and false teachers turn you away from God. Jesus Christ warned us in the Bible that these wolves in sheep’s clothing would come. His prophecy has come true. If you want to see what real Christianity is, I urge you to watch this video.

  1. The problem is that you, as an individual, have no authority to judge this Christian or not. The Protestant project is made up of 500 years of individuals screaming heresy at one another. Really, if your system is based on individual interpretation and sola scriptura, who are *you* to judge these individual’s interpretations of Scripture as deficient? On what basis? You have none, nor do any of the other thousands of Protestants who claim authority to define Christianity on “what the Bible says” then violently disagree with each other about, well, “what the Bible says.”

It’s pretty sad. But completely predictable.

God bless. Praying that you open your heart to the truth and the real Church of Jesus Christ, the church that Jesus founded and lives through the ministry of the Apostles and their successors.

  2. Mark:
Jesus told us to beware of false prophets. How are we supposed to do that without making a “judgment?” Jesus told us we’d know them by their fruit. How are we supposed to do that without making a “judgment?”It almost sounds like you are defending the garbage you saw in this video.

The real problem Mark, with all do respect, is that you need to dust off your Bible and begin reading it. May I suggest you begin with the fifth chapter of 1 Corinthians. It’s only 13 verses long and it will help you understand who we are permitted to judge and who we are not permitted to judge.

And have you forgotten that those screaming “heresy” the loudest and most frequent was the Roman Catholic Church against those who dared to translate the Scriptures into a language the common man could read? They screamed “heresy” as they burned men alive! Very judgmental thing to do; don’t you think?

Furthermore, based on your comment, I feel you were judging me. But you weren’t really… right?

The fact of the matter is, I don’t need some guy in Rome to tell me what John 3:16 means. I’d rather rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit, thank You. After all, these are the words HE gave us.

Now, here’s a question–if we don’t have the “right to judge” because we “each have our own interpretation”, how can you trust a “Church” that has not only removed verses from the book of Exodus, but also added in their own Apocrypha, and goes on to teach things that are totally unbiblical (bowing down to statues, praying to Mary, worshipping trinkets and dead bones, etc.)?
