NBC interview on Momonism.

The Mormon church has always taught that their church is the only true church on the face of the earth, and that there’s no salvation found outside their church. But as usual, a representative of the LDS church lies (in this interview to Matt Lower) to sugar coat what they really believe. He claims that his church isn’t the only way, but simply an alternative.

Early Mormonism did everything it could to differentiate itself from authentic orthodox Christianity, including calling the Christian God the Mormon devil. Now Mormons are doing everything they can to look like, act like, and sound like Christians. It’s much easier to deceive people that way.

  1. Points:

The first guy on the video said, “It’s all about families.” I thought it was all about Christ.

Towards the end of the interview, Belnap talked about the need for people to “repent from their mistakes.” Mistakes? They’re called SINS!!

All in all, Matt Liar just basically threw the guy a bunch of softballs.

  2. What a soft-peddling interview. No tough questions:

    1. Isn’t it true that Mormons believe that Jesus and Satan are brothers?
    2. Isn’t it true that Mormons believe there are many gods which contradicts the Bible’s claim that there is only one God?
    3. Isn’t it true that Mormons believe that God the Father commited adultery against His spirit-wife by having sex with Mary?

I guess you can’t expect anything else but the world to promote the lies of its father.
