One of the last known remaining members of the generation of 1914 that Jehovah’s Witnesses claimed would “not pass away” has died at age 109.
But fear not. As in usual fashion, the Watchtower Organization has changed their stance (a.k.a. “new light”) on what they said previously (a tactic Mormons employ very well themselves). Read more about it by clicking here.
okay first of all..1914 was declared the beggining of jesus christ rule in heaven also when he hurled satan down to the earth therefore causing all the problems you see today. maybe you might want to consider having a bible study so then maybe some of you retard that post this will actually sound smart for once in your lives.. instead of sounding like a complete retard like now. or maybe since you truly dont understand the bible or its meanings then you might want to get some help in that catergory too. the bible is quite difficult if you dont mediatate on what you read. might want to try reading matthew 24: 1-14 and it might give you a little insight since your such a lost cause (:

Dear Ashley:
You cited Matthew 24:1-14 as your text to justify the JW false prophecy of Jesus’ return in 1914, (and to call us “retards”). However, as commonly done with those indoctrinated in an organization such yours, you failed to read all of Matthew 24. You conveniently stopped at verse 14 when, if you kept reading, you would have seen the error of your organization’s false theology.
If you would have read all of the chapter of Scripture you cited you would have seen in verses 15-20, that the following things must take place FIRST (that’s prior to, before, preceding) the return of Jesus Christ:
– The abomination of desolation standing in the holy place. (15)
– A “great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world.” (21)
– False Christs and false prophets will show “great signs and wonders.” (24)
– The sun will be darkened. (29)
– The moon will not give its light. (29)
– The stars will fall from the sky. (29)
– The powers of the heavens will be shaken. (29)
– The sign of the Son of Man will APPEAR in the sky. (30)
Then, and only then, will Jesus return on the clouds with great power and great glory!
You may just consider us “lost causes” and “retards,” but since none of these things that must precede Christ’s return have taken place, your organization’s fictional account is proven to be nothing more than another failed attempt to cover up yet another false prophecy.
Furthermore, verse 26 gives us a warning about you and your organization. It’s a pretty prophetic picture concerning the Watchtower! You should read it some time. One would almost think Matthew had your organization in mind when he penned it.
Additionally, another proof that your invisible return of Christ is nothing but sheer Watchtower fiction, is Jesus’ own words in verse 27. Since the coming of the Son of Man will be like lightening flashing from east to west, yet your organization says His return was invisible, I think I know who the false teacher is! And it isn’t Matthew!
And finally, if your organization would ever take seriously the fact that no man knows the day or hour of Christ’s return (verse 36), they wouldn’t have made so many false prophecies concerning His return.

My heart breaks to see people that are caught up in the Watchtower cult. They are so blinded to the truth. Maybe if they would read a non-perverted “bible”(NWT) without any of the Watchtower’s materials, some of them might actually come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Not to mention that they preach a false gospel. They have resurrected the heresy of Arianism. They deny what the historic church has always held to, the deity of Jesus and the Trinity, the immortal soul.
Ashley you may not listen to a “retard” but, get yourself a non-perverted Bible, KJV, NKJV, ESV, NASB, and study it without aid from the Watchtower. Ask God to show you the truth. I believe He will if you really want the truth.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
