Wow! He looks a lot different than when he was on Carol Burnett

I was thinking, “I loved him in those skits where he played the old man who shuffled around.” LOL

  2. I look forward to listening to this. I thought his sermon “The Stranger in Your Home” (regarding tv) was very good, and the sermon he preached “Why Hell is Necessary” was outstanding. I listened to it twice in a row.

It is refreshing listening to biblically sound, God-centered preaching. I never tire of it.

Yes, I love Pastor Conway’s messages. He doesn’t hold back. I am grateful for you guys and your uncompromising preaching of the word. I just hope that this blog can introduce more people to this type of preaching. (I will be posting more sermons from him and others in the future). In a world of watered-down, candy-coated, feel-good messages, it is a refreshing oasis to get sound biblical teaching. I live in spiritual desert where this type of preaching is not found. I thank God for the internet and the ability to to get these solid teachings.

    Dear Fourpointer & Cruci-Fide:
I too loved the comedian Tim Conway on the Carol Burnett show. I remember watching him as a kid. He was the best. He was good at what he did.

    Dear Amy:
Thanks for the comment. Sometimes I wonder if anyone’s actually listening to the messages I post on here. I hope you have been and continue to be encouraged.

    Carol:
Thanks for the award. How do I “pick it up?” :o)

  4. Amy,

I just listened to that one (Why Hell is Necessary) today. How many times do we ever hear anyone talk about the holiness of Hell, Amen?

And Pilgrim, you kinda had to figure someone was going to slip that one in there somewhere, no?
