Are you a pastor struggling to boost your church attendance so you can brag about it at your next pastors convention?
Tried all the other means of growing your church like watering down the gospel, and still haven’t been invited on Larry King Live?
Well try this approach: Seattle Baptist Church recently offered two great incentives to get the “unchurched” into church.
1). Come hear a Christian millionaire speak. (Like they can’t do that from home watching TBN).
2). Offer them a chance to win one of two Panasonic 52″ LCD flat screen televisions.

Nice header, pilgrim! 😉

Thank you. I searched and searched for a decent Christmas header and couldn’t find a good one. Then I found this picture on one of the posts on your blog.
Now I can’t say you never gave me anything. :o)

Hey, if you win the TV, do you suppose the first show you will watch will be
“LOST”
or maybe
“Touched By An Angel (of darkness!)”

Is it possible to make “reformation nation” in white on your header? It would show up better against the dark blue background. I’d leave the rest of the text black since it’s against the lighter nativity picture.

I was going to look into that today.
Brian:
Perhaps they could use the TV to watch Highway to Heaven. It may be more theologically accurate than the church they got the TV from. :o)

They could watch 7th Heaven, oh wait, this isn’t a mormon church (and besides, they only have 3 heavens!!)

Yeah, this church is pretty bad. I lost my best friend to them. She was told not to associate with me, her friend of many, many years, because of my religion. Somehow, it was okay when I was pagan, but when I decided to accept God, and joined a Christian church that differs in doctrine, well, suddenly, she was told to cut me out of her life completely. She wasn’t even allowed to come to my wedding, or even the reception!
They teach a lot of other dangerous false doctrine, but I wouldn’t even know where to start…
