There’s so many things wrong with this that I won’t even bother wasting my time discussing it. But here’s my suggestion to Relevant Church: How about trying the 30-day Study-Your-Bible Challenge?

God, make your people holy in the midst of such apostasy.

I like it.
See now, that’s the kind of preaching that could bring be back into the fold…

This is so ludicrous even some secular blogs have picked the story up and are having a whale of a time smearing Christianity.
I’m disgusted.

Relevant Church BTW is part of the Emergent Church cult movement.
our churches are becoming like the ones mentioned in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 and I am sick of it.
2 Timothy 4:3-4
For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

How is this wrong? What’s the problem? He is saying couples need to be more together! This is a topic that the church has been scared of for years and now it needs to be discuessed. We all do it (married couples) and it is something that helps out couples. As long as he is not saying unmarried or engaged people are allowed he is perfectly fine in my eyes.. People we have let the world tell us what’s allowed to be preached now?!?!

And the singles shouldn’t being doing it anyway so what’s the hard part on there part? I guarantee the congregation will be never happy for the next month and the membership will grow..

Greetings to all,
I can understand that the church needs to address topics such as; sexual relationship {married and singles}, homosexualism, adultery, and so-forth, from the pulpit. But here are my concerns and questions; first, during this so-called thirty day period of “Easy Loving” what else is being communicated? Do the parishioners have to give oracle sexual accountability to their flock or to another person? Secondly, sexual relationship is a great thing but it needs to be kept between married couples, without sharing personal knowledge or each other. How many times and whereas too many women have told other women how wonderful their men were as lovers? And sure as God makes little green apples one of them, sooner or later will make a move on your old man!!!!!!
I believe that renewing loving feelings with your spouse is wonderful. However, you need to pray and have both eyes open, and perhaps a shut mouth when concerning anything outside of the marriage. One last thing, I would assume when they said married; hopefully it is to each other? Don’t criticize or laugh, years ago, I heard of a charismatic church that had adult “Married Couple Nights”, whereas couple would slow dance with the lights low at church and change partners. Needless to say, a lot of negative things took place to include adultery.
Discernment, Discernment, and more Discernment!
Jesus is Lord

As a person who hates how religion has muddied true Christianity,
…as someone who has read the Bible at least fifteen years,
…as someone who is single and not about to marry any time soon (that I know of!),
…as someone who’s been saved 10 years
…as someone who just loves Jesus and reads the Bible daily,
I must have missed something in the Bible if this guy is telling singles to abstain from sex from 30 days, because dang nab it–I thought singles were ALREADY supposed to not be having sex unless they’re married?
This “church” is unbelievable.
