I’m sure there will probably be a Catholic that will watch this video and point out the typo near the end it says “2 Titus 3:16″ instead of “2 Timothy 3:16″ and say this disproves the whole video.
As far as his argument about there being no Scriptural basis for the doctrine of “sola scriptura,” perhaps he has never read 2nd Timothy 3:13-15–But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. If the Scriptures–and not even the Scriptures we have today, but simply the Old Testament!!–are able to make us wise unto salvation, what need do we have for tradition? Oh, that must be one of those things I need to have a priest explain to me, because obviously Paul didn’t mean what he wrote.
