All this for the likes of us! He who knew no sin became sin so that we who knew only sin might be made the righteousness of God in Christ!
Praise the Lord that in Christ alone we have the forgiveness of sin!

Seriously though, so many people think that salvation comes because we “do enough good things” and God puts a bunch of gold stars and smiley faces next to our name. They do not realize that it is God who reaches down and saves us and pulls us from the muck and mire, and that it is HE who makes peace with US when we were still His enemy.
Hallelujah in the name of Yehoshua Ha’Mashiach!
