Presidential candidate Barack Obama’s Chicago area United Church of Christ is back in the news. This time it’s not because of remarks by Jeremiah Wright but instead it’s for the remarks of Catholic Priest Michael Pfleger (invited to speak at Trinity) during a Christless, racist-laden sermon tirade.

Christ Alone Wyoming 
I’m from the Chicago area & Pfleger has been causing trouble for years, so this is hardly surprising. Apparently, he’s extremely liberal & is vehemently pro-choice, even giving his pulpit to pro-abortion speakers, as well the black Muslim leader Luis Farrakhan. I’ve also heard he’s buddy-buddy with the “Reverends” Al Sharpton & Jesse Jackson. He once got himself arrested with Jesse Jackson when they entered & refused to leave a gun shop. So, as sad as this is, I’m hardly surprised.

Lemme see…this is why I don’t discuss politics. Unless you live under a hole, you have a political opinion. For the love of all that is good, at least try and think through espousing it at somewhere as public at TUCC. Besides, he’s supposedly a man of God – why you talkin’ bout the Democratic race like it is a spiritual issue…
