Yet another example of Hollywood’s view of their Creator. Kathy Griffin’s remarks were censored after her receipt of an award. They may have been censored from television but unless she repents, her words will still come back to haunt her on Judgment Day. Click here to read the story.
Everyone of us will give an account for every careless (and premeditated) word we speak. I pity her when she stands before the very God who she belittles.
The deeper problem with Kathy Griffin is not her comment, but her heart. This presents an opportunity for me to ask the same of you. Where’s your heart today? Do you still pay to watch the movies these people make? Do you still sit in front of your TV wasting countless hours of your short life watching the trash these people pump into your living rooms?Selah.
According to the latest issue of World Magazine, Rajan Zed was invited by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D – NV) to open the senate in “prayer.” Reid, said of Zed “I think it speaks well of our country that someone representing the faith of about a billion people comes here and can speak in communication with our heavenly Father regarding peace.”
Reid obviously must have forgotten that the vast majority of those billion practitioners of the Hindu faith don’t live in this country.
I wonder if Senator Reid, a Mormon, quoted his prophet Joseph Smith when Smith said “My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right–and which I should join. I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong, and the personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in His sight: that those professors were all corrupt; that “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me; they teach for doctrines the commandments of men: having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.” (History of the Church)
When ZED approached the microphone to give the “prayer” he was repeatedly interrupted by Christians (who were subsequently arrested for unlawful conduct).
I honestly don’t know what the fuss is all about. After watching this video, I came to two conclusions and have addressed them to both faiths below:
To the Hindus: Why all the fuss? Don’t be upset because some well-meaning Christians stood up for the one true Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ., the only name under Heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Before you ridicule and criticize them for doing this, just remember that in India and other parts of the world, Christians are murdered by Hindus just for being Christians. Fortunately for you, most Americans (and most Christians) are oblivious to this fact.
To the Christians: Why all the fuss? We’ve removed God from every facet of our country; that having a Hindu prayer delivered during the opening of the Senate is just the end result of this nation’s rebellion before God. I hate to suggest this, but it’s possible that God’s glory has departed from our country long ago. I might even go so far as to say it was when we legalized the murder of unborn infants, in which 40 million have been slaughtered since doing so became “a choice.” How can we keep crying out for God to bless this country when it is as wicked as those countries run by Hindus? We need to quit asking for God to bless America and begin demanding that America bless God.
China will be using animated Cyber Police that will appear on internet user’s screens to warn them to stay away from illegal internet content. I find it interesting that this article came from Yahoo News because Yahoo has blood on its hands from past actions and it’s for this very reason I refuse to use the Yahoo search engine. If you are unfamiliar with Yahoo’s assistance with the Chinese government to turn in the identity of web users, then check out this article, or this article.
For those of you who are asking the question, “who cares about this, isn’t this all related to politics?” I submit for your consideration this link regarding what Christians endure in China. And if you’re still unconvinced, then here’s a whole list of links on news articles of Christian persecution in China.
The Denver Post is reporting that Juanita Bynum, the televangelist who has won a national following with sermons about women’s empowerment, was badly bruised in a fight with her estranged husband “Bishop” Thomas Weeks. Watch the Fox 5 News video below:
This deviant behavior doesn’t surprise me when you find out what this false prophet and prophetess are all about. Since their televised wedding on the apostate cable channel TBN in 2002, they have peddled lust and sex in their seminars all under the guise of Christianity. Think I’m being too harsh? Check out the following videos and see for yourself. But I caution you, parental discretion is advised as the subject matter these “prophets” are peddling is not suitable for children.
Junaita Bynum the “Dr. Ruth of Christendom.”
“Bishop” Thomas W. Weeks and the vulgar “Christian” Newlywed Game.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. (2 Timothy 4:3 NASB)
On September 9th, two days before we commemorate the sixth anniversary of 9/11, Muslims in New York will be participating in the 22nd annual Muslim Day Parade. I thought that in honor of this coming celebration we at ReformationNation.net and ReformationNation.com would present the following video by David Horowitz:
Amnesty International has decided to make a stand on the abortion issue. And take a wild guess which side they’ve taken? Here’s a hint: They won’t be fighting for amnesty for the most defenseless of all people groups; the unborn. I guess for their simple crime of being “inconvenient,” these children don’t deserve protection from this organization. According to this article“The human rights group will campaign for woman to have access to abortion in cases including rape and incest.”Never mentioning, of course, the child they are campaigning against is also human. The article goes on to say “But Amnesty’s international council – meeting in Mexico – has overwhelmingly supported the decision, insisting it was upholding the ability of women to exercise their sexual and reproductive rights free from coercion and violence.”Apparently the child involved doesn’t get to exercise his or her right to be born free from coercion and violence. So what exactly is this “human rights” organization supporting? Click here to see.
For those contemplating the idea of House Churches, here’s some statistics. I can personally attest that since leaving the self-absorbed, sleeping, lukewarm churches in my area and began fellowshipping in a House Church, I feel like I’ve been set free and my growth in the Lord Jesus Christ has never been stronger. Ingrid over at Slice of Laodicea featured the topic of House Churches here and received many good comments.
