In a nutshell, the last month has seen the evil one completely decimate the already small congregation which I pastor. Freemasonry reared its ugly, Luciferian head within our midst. Some in our church preferred the ungodly, worldly alliances instead of the covenant they made with God’s people. Instead of making things right with the Lord and forsaking the wicked connections they had probably unwittingly made years ago, they chose to start calling others within the congregation.

“. . . having itching ears . . . ” How sad when itching ears lead to walking feet. Sad for your congregation, sad for those who are now away from the protection and instruction of a loving pastor, sad for fact that freemasonry will be increased.
May God reward your labor and your heartache at this time. Remember the crowds ditched Jesus too when He started talking about the harder things and greater demands of the Gospel.
It’s not in vain
It’s not in vain
We serve a risen savior
Jesus rules and reigns
The heavens cheer us on
We do not walk alone
Our labor, our service our faith
It’s not in vain

Habakkuk,
You are closer to the truth than you realize! What makes this even harder to take at times is when you have those whom you have ministered to (2 of the men who were not Masons) tell you that they are actually considering joining just to see whether what you are telling them is even true or not. They want to see for themselves! I even tried to share the illustration that you don’t have to get drunk or pay for the services of a prostitute to see that it is sin and a danger to the soul, but it merely fell on deaf ears.
Thanks to you and to others who have expressed their concern and prayers for those involved in the ministry of our local group of believers.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Keep standing on the immovable Rock, brother and remain steadfast in your faithfulness to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
In Christ,

My pastor reminds us again and again to be vigilant in prayer and watchful for the enemy to plant discord or error in the body. God is blessing these days, there’s great harmony. Pastor has great freedom and has been doing an outstanding job going through Genesis chapter by chapter for the past year. Yet – – – YET, if we are not watchful, if we are not praying, if we are not dealing with each other in the body as the Word commands – – it will all come crashing down. One loose tongue, one bitter spirit, one person entranced by error could give Satan an open door to wreck havoc. I think we are often way too relaxed in our watchfulness. We think things will rock along just because they always have. I’ve been in the middle of a church that imploded. It can come apart so quickly. We need not be paranoid or be looking for a demon in every pew pocket, but we certainly need to remember that the enemy is prowling around like a roaring lion – – looking for that one prey that is weak, unaware or separated from the flock.
