Paul Washer speaks poignantly and directly to both pastors and church members. The Bride of Christ needs to wake up and remove those from their midst who keep them from following Christ. If you are following a church leadership that hates the true gospel of the Lord Jesus, you would be better to have a millstone tied around your neck and thrown into the sea then to sit under such teaching and leadership that is bound to the works of the flesh. Such a leadership is not honoring to Christ. If you know the truth and ignore it, you will be held accountable for what you know.

THE GOPELS POWER AND MESSAGE by Washer is one of the best books I have ever read. His insights into the necessity of the cross and the necessity of the nature of Him who died will lay low any remaining vestige of self righteous pride.

Sadly, those who are the most guilty will simply shrug off such warnings and thoughts as being inapplicable to them as they are simply becoming “all things to all men” and “reaching folks where they’re at”. The ones doing this are clueless as to how to read Scripture properly and so are unaware of how much they have twisted it. And yes, that includes a lot of nicely dressed seminary grads who knows how to read greek and hebrew!
