You adultresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself and enemy of God.
– The Apostle James
James 4:4-5
Our lives become so busy (even in ministry) that sometimes we forget the most important thing: Our relationship with God. Take a moment right now and reflect. Reflect on the awful price that had to be paid to save us from our sins. Thank you Jesus for what you sacrificed to ransom your people. It was not a cheap sacrifice. It cost everything. It cost the very blood of God (Acts 20:28).
Vodpod videos no longer available.Yet another example of Hollywood’s view of their Creator. Kathy Griffin’s remarks were censored after her receipt of an award. They may have been censored from television but unless she repents, her words will still come back to haunt her on Judgment Day. Click here to read the story.
Everyone of us will give an account for every careless (and premeditated) word we speak. I pity her when she stands before the very God who she belittles.
The deeper problem with Kathy Griffin is not her comment, but her heart. This presents an opportunity for me to ask the same of you. Where’s your heart today? Do you still pay to watch the movies these people make? Do you still sit in front of your TV wasting countless hours of your short life watching the trash these people pump into your living rooms? Selah.
While we memorialized yesterday’s sixth anniversary of 9/11, we tend to forget a greater slaughter of Americans that occur on a daily basis. Each day more people are killed in a “clinic” in America than died on 9/11. Yet we make 9/11 a big deal and simply ignore the greater slaughter. Innocent people died on 9/11 in an act of war. Innocent people die everyday in America because of inconvenience. This is truly an inconvenient truth.
I just thought I’d share this beautiful hymn with you; perfomred by Sandi Patty.
We just celebrated our 1 month anniversary at ReformationNation.net. In one month we’ve had 5,000 visits. Thank you to all those who have checked us out and offered words of encouragement. I hope that this blog has been an encouragement to you as well.
And as always, we welcome all your comments, questions and suggestions.
Casting Crown’s Who Am I?
I can certainly relate to the type of people Piper is referring to in this video clip. I run into them all the time while street witnessing. They continue to live just like the world but profess to be “Christians” because they go to such and such church. They prayed the prayer and got their ticket punched! Here’s a perfect example.
Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
– The Apostle John
1 John 2:15-16
In a free country, to be a member of a church, it is enough to believe and be baptized. In the Church underground it is not enough to be a member in it. You can be baptized and you can believe, but you will not be a member of the Underground Church unless you know how to suffer. You might have the mightiest faith in the world, but if you are not prepared to suffer, then you will be taken by the police. You will get two slaps and you will declare anything. So the preparation for suffering is one of the essentials in the preparation for underground work.

The first video of the late Anna Nicole Smith is from 1999. In this video she claims that Jesus is her personal Lord and savior.
The second video is of the late Anna Nicole Smith recorded sometime after the first video. Any questions?
Man always has a way of utterly defiling what God intended for good. Clowns were not the intention God had when instructing us in what pure and undefiled religion is in His sight as recorded in James 1:27.
What those in nursing homes need: To be visited by sincere Christians who will spend time with them, talk with them, listen to them, and share the gospel with them.
What those in nursing homes don’t need: A bunch of grown adults in clown attire running around acting like fools playing with balloons. (Not to be confused with the ever-popular Joyce Meyer Conventions).

Would you believe me if I told you I found two videos of a churches where the song If You Wanna Be My Lover by the Spice Girls is performed in the sanctuary by?
Well, I did!
This is a prime example of when the “Church” refuses to separate from the world.
I grieve for these girls because they’ve obviously been let down by their parents (especially their fathers) who apparently permitted this, their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ who condoned this, and their pastor, who is the shepherd of the church, who not only approved of this worldly behavior, but gave them a platform by which to do it. I grieve for them because they know not what it is to fear a holy God. Their only experience of Christianity is the social club Churchianity that not only allows this type of behavior but celebrates it. So much of the blame for their low view of God can be placed at the feet of all those around them.
Standing for your faith sometimes costs you everything.

Not to be outdone by our friends across the pond, (as shown in my previous post), Trinity Church in Manhattan has jumped on the clowns-in-church bandwagon.
Thanks to A Little Leaven for putting this video together.
You can watch the Participant Reaction by clicking here. The comments by those in attendance speaks volumes to the depravity of those who have no understanding or concept of reverence, and is a direct result of sitting under the teaching of those whom the glory departed form a long time ago. Obviously this type of apostasy didn’t happen overnight.

Clowns leading a church service in England.
All around us are people who are worldly-minded, money-lovers, pleasure-seekers, Sabbath-breakers, yet who think all is well with them because they have ‘accepted Christ as their personal Savior’. In their aspiration, conversation, and recreation, there is practically nothing to differentiate them from those who make no profession at all. Neither in their home-life nor social-life is there anything except empty pretensions to distinguish them from others. The fear of God is not upon them, the commands of God have no authority over them, the holiness of God has no attraction for them.
