Oy Vey. It is not as far from the truth as we would like to think. I could see the “church” that I left going for a “Sports Center” theme for a series of services. I mean we had the “Little Mermaid” theme for about 6 weeks. I quickly found the exit from that place.

I don’t think people will ever really get that excited about coming to church. And its a shame.
Every fall I see so many people get excited enough to get up before dawn and drive 2 hours in freezing cold to see our college team play. But they can’t get up to cross the street and make a 10 am church service

Am I the only one wondering what the half-time show would be like?
