It grieves me to see such “spiritual abuse”, not to mention the fact that my Lord’s name is being blasphemed.

I really hadn’t watched any of Bently’s display. He may be a “healing evangelist”, but just watching that made me actually feel ill.
Father God, I lift up this situation in my home state with Todd Bentley. Lord, You said that in the end times false prophets would arise. Father, I beg You to move in such a way that Bentley and those of his ilk would be exposed. Your word also says that in the end times that you would pour out Your Holy Spirit – Father we beg for a real outpouring of Your Spirit on Your church – that we would be the salt and light that would put the false prophets to shame. Father I pray for your protection on sweet, believing people who are flocking to Bentley to be healed. Oh Father – may they find their home and strength in You alone.
In the powerful name of Jesus I ask these things. Amen.

Calvary Chapel Melbourne, Florida – Pastor Mark Balmer did a great job on spiritual deception and specifically Lakeland.

I think ABC did a fair job on exposing Bentley but they could have done much better. They wore kid gloves.
One thing I noticed about these Bentley “healings” is that it seems like they’re never full, complete and without some doubt still lingering.
When you compare these “signs and wonders” with authentic, genuine healings recorded in the Scriptures, you see a big difference. In the Scriptures when healings took place, there was no doubt about it. The person was completely made well. Limbs restored, sight returned, crippled pick up their mats and walk, etc.
The boy that could walk on Bentley’s stage still suffered from his disease (and considerably so). Those healed in the Bible were healed fully. If this is truly a “move of God” and “God is the same yesterday, today, and forever,” why is there such an obvious contrast?
It seems like there’s an elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about.
