Stacy Denboer is back with yet another disturbing video. I was provided the following video from Stacy himself in an e-mail he sent me. The following is his e-mail verbatim and in its entirety and below that is the video of himself taking “hits” off a plastic baby doll which renders him unable to control his bodily functions, including grunting like an animal and drooling.
I’m wondering where the Scriptural support (e.g. teaching, precedent, etc.) is for this. I remember reading of other accounts in the Bible in which people were unable to control themselves, and it was usually due to demonic possession.
“I went ahead an removed the video clips of me and my children enjoying the presence of God… I was wondering why my view count was going up so fast, but then I traced it to this site… I don’t want to read about the God of the Bible only (cognitive only), but I desire to read and experience the God of the Bible… Jesus reconciled us back to God completely on the cross.. the veil was torn and you can enjoy as much Glory as you want…. (“on earth as it is in heaven”) Here is a clip where I get so wacked by the presence of God that I am drueling….”
“Wow… I have been getting so hammered on Jesus…. Man!!!! I feel like I am going to have an Enoch experience!!!”
That man makes me want to vomit.

This is demonic and blasphemy. How can anyone be so deceived as to think this is of the Lord?

From an outsider’s viewpoint it looks to me he’s just trying to make a mockery of christianity. The fact someone would waste their time making videos like this makes me laugh…y’all should do the same… Move on! ignore him, and like most children, he’ll go away…give hiim the attention he’s seeking and you’ll only see more of him… stop linking to this stuff if it truly disgusts you…it only helps to perpetuate it…

Sorry, I’m new to this character: Is this guy claiming to be a Christian? And that ‘toking’ a plastic doll is giving him a ‘Spiritual High’? This has all the feel of a snarky put-on…you know, like someone mocking those who claim to be ‘slain in the spirit’. He’s putting us on…right?

This is absolutley shocking. I can’t for one minute begin to fathom how people can follow this nonsense. I am a sinner and it is only by the precious blood of Christ poured out on the cross that I can stand. I am every bit as guilty of rebellion against God and deserving of His wrath, but videos like this make the realisation of Gods wrath against such blasphemies all the more easier to understand. How can one think God will not judge such disgusting mocking? How can people actually think God is not angered by this?? I remember John Piper stating that God does not punish such blatant acts of blasphemy or strike em down so to speak, because it shows His great patience to the saints.
How i fear for those who die without Christ…..or those who totally mock the Risen Lord.
This guy needs prayer. Either he is estranged…..mockng on purpose….or demon-possesed. I mean WHHHHAAATTT is this??? I dont know whether to laugh or cry or vomit right about now!!

Satirical? I hope so. Went on too long to be effective. I liked the realistic drooling. My 10-year-old son and I are having discussions whether such things as the drooling qualify as “special effects” or “stunt.” I’m going with: stunt. What do you think?

I haven’t viewed the video and don’t intend to. Just the discription is enough to put you off.
This is not my website, but if it were, I would not put these videos on for others to view, and for this character to make a name for himself, which is what he is doing.
I never heard of him until now, and I have never visited his website. I’ve only heard of him through this website.

Ephesians 5:1-21
Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
This man, this “parent”, will face our King one day soon.

Sadly this is not a joke, nor satirical. This guy is serious.
However, he is not “leading” anyone except his children into this wickedness. He actually received his twisted views by following the originators of these doctrines of demons, John Crowder and Benjamin Dunn (that I featured in this previous post) who not only spawned this guy, but also Captain Whacked the Christian Pirate.

I thought this ‘drunk in the spirit’ nonsense was limited to just a few extreme people like Dunn and Crowder. But then I ran across a video at endtimespropheticwords.wordpress.com today that caused me to think otherwise. At http://event.cbn.com/spiritualgifts/event/?EventID=11, there is a two hour long video of a spiritual gifts conference sponsored by the 700 Club/CBN. It features Pat Robertson’s son, Gordon, and two ladies who become ‘drunk in the spirit’, which they call ‘soaking’ or ‘getting wrecked’. I didn’t watch all two hours -just the first 15 minutes was more than enough! The whole thing sickened me. Guess this teaching is getting more mainstream than I thought and that is scary! Where do they find context for this behavior in the Scriptures? Can you really imagine Jesus falling to the floor, shaking, and yelling “Whoa” every few minutes? I am amazed people could think this is of the Lord. It is all very sad and disturbing.

Somehow that doesn’t surprise me coming from Pat Robertson. He’s already proven himself to be a false prophet (see this post).

Thank you for the link. I haven’t watched the 700 Club in years so I wasn’t aware of how far of the track Robertson had gone. I did happen to catch a clip on the internet not long ago where the author of The Shack was interviewed by Terry M. The book was presented in a very favorable light and that surprised me. People were encouraged to read it. From what I have read at Hereoscope and some other sites, that book is a very New Age and in no way resembles the true gospel message. I hate to think of the many people who watch that 700 Club and are now reading that garbage.

When watching this video, did you experience any of the following? Did you feel offended? Provoked? Angry? Think about it… why?
Would you be humiliated to be associated with, or embarrassed to be this guy’s family member? What if he attended your church? Would you sit next to him? What if you HAD to work next to him. Would you love him or shun him?
While I’ve never been so overwhelmed by God’s presence, that I was left drooling, I’ve had a taste of the glory of our King and it has indeed left me in a state of overwhelmed ecstasy… a sense of feeling high, free, peaceful, even drunk. I’ve never tried drugs, but apparently there must be lots of people that do smoke pot. When a pot smoker drags on a joint and gets a buzz, do they look any less ridiculous? There must be something to it or people wouldn’t do it, right? And there must be some sense of social gratification for the people that do it together. I’ve never been around that, but I’d imagine they sit there and laugh at each other. I most likely would.
Watching this guy, I must admit, I have to laugh… in fact, to me he’s quite hilarious. I admire his freedom. I don’t see him blaspheming God as much as I do see him being used to provoke a lot of religious, high-minded, people… people who love their traditions but have never in fact been ‘whacked’ by the Holy Ghost.
I could see this Stacy-dude attracting a lot of kids who have tried a marijuana-high. Hey, they’ve tried pot. What’s this guy smoking??? He’s having more fun than they are… and it’s FREE! There’s no high like the Most High.
If he offends you, perhaps you’re the one that needs a heart change. Maybe you’re more of a pharisee than you are a believer. Maybe you’re clinging to a ‘form’ of godliness, but have no experience or frame of reference to the POWER of God.
Perhaps you’d feel more at home with the likes of Michal, David’s wife, who disdained him as she embarrassingly watched him strip down to his skivvies and dance before the Lord with all his might.
Maybe you’d be found in the ranks of Stephen’s stoners as they rushed upon him with gnashing teeth as he was caught up in the ecstasy of our beloved Jesus.
Examine your heart. If his liberty offends you, ask God why. Maybe you’ll be surprised at what’s in there.

David did not strip down to his skivvies when he danced.

Steveco, even drug users would find this totally offensive. i have known plenty of pot smokers being from Humboldt County, CA (and please, methinks you doth protest too much) and i’ve never seen one act as retarded as this. just because something seems fun does not make it right, and there is nothing funny going on here, it’s pure and simple blasphemy. you are using the same tired phrases that everyone who defends this kind of mess does. no, this does not attract people to God, get real. i showed some kids and they said he was: lame, weak, needed to be slapped, and looked like a chimo. this is not going to get the kids to Sunday School.

I’m very concerned about Stacy’s children and others being brought up in heretical teachings. Biblically, children are to obey their parents, but what if they’re teaching occult heresies? Do we just wait to reach them once they’re 18?

I am Stacy’s aunt. Please pray for his soul. He was not raised this way. Stacy is very educated. He went to a bible college for four years. This just tells me that the Devil can trap anyone of us and we need to always be on guard. Please pray for him and his family.

Dear Roe-z:
Roe, do you know how Stacy got mixed up in this wickedness?
Church influence? Friends? Internet? His Bible college?
Have you tried helping him? If so, what is the typical response you receive?
I am glad to hear that Stacy has an Aunt that loves him enough to be concerned with his soul.
I ask that readers of DefCon will keep Stacy and his family in prayer as he has certainly fallen under the spell of Crowder and Dunn and it’s affecting his children in ways that (I’m sure) are unbearable for extended family members to witness.
