This week DefCon presents the final installment of Pastor Chuck Betters’ three part series on the lost art of Church discipline.
Chuck Betters’ final sermon on this matter is How to Conduct Church Discipline. I highly recommend this series on this much-neglected doctrine of the Church (you can listen to part one here and part two here).
Chuck Betters is pastor of Glasgow Reformed Presbyterian Church in Bear, Delaware.
I enjoyed the clear message on this topic, very well done.

Dear PapaPatriot:
Thank you for your encouragement on this post and the last few posts on other sermons.
I select each sermon after personally listening to them (I listen to a lot of them). I choose to post a new one each Wednesday for the encouragement, instruction, and edification of the Body. Sometimes I get discouraged and wonder if anyone out there besides myself (and now you) actually listens to them.
Thanks again, brother.

The sermons you have posted are a great and I listen to them all.
They encourage me because there are still people preaching the truth about our Lord!
My little Sony MP3 player is filled with sermons, I think that I’m a sermonoholic.

You and me both PapaPatriot. The MP3 player is possibly the greatest invention since electricity. And after living in a spiritual desert for so long I had to resort to finding doctrinally sound sermons on the internet because most churches in my area are a mile wide and an inch deep.
I am glad that you are blessed by these messages. I don’t post every sermon I listen to. I select ones that I feel will be most beneficial to the readers of DefCon.
And just wait until December. I will be posting a five part series on the deity of Christ and the doctrine of the Trinity by Don Green. It is excellent!
