  1. It will cost you everything if you are a disciple of Jesus Christ. But you on your own cannot pay the cost of everything to become a disciple of Jesus Christ.

  2. Has Steve Lawson given up everything he owns, yet?

Thank God that He has empowered us through His great and precious promises to do this.

    2 Peter 1:3-11
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters,[a] make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  3. Alan, it would be easy to say the same thing or ask the same questions about you, or I, or anybody else. However, to assume about what a person has or has not given up must be between that individual and God.

There may be some who would say that while our family gave up everything to move to Liberia, and I lost my health permanently, that I did not give all because I didn’t die over there. But I know what the Lord has called me to do and I know where I stand now and what I choose to give. What I give now, I give as to the Lord and not to men.

  4. I am so thankful that living in grace today and joty for love from the Father in today again for Jesus blood case and desire too be used of him more and more with miracles and moving heaven with meand you to win and be glory to God in to pleasing him daily, thanks and bless and joy, keijo sweden
