It’s Official: Islamic Law Has Been Adopted In Britain

Rowan Williams might actually be a prophet!

Seven months after Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, was pilloried for suggesting that the establishment of sharia in the future “seems unavoidable” in Britain, it’s now official that Islamic law has been officially adopted in Britain, with sharia courts given powers to rule on Muslim civil cases.

Sharia courts have been set up in London, Birmingham, Bradford and Manchester with the network’s headquarters in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Two more courts are being planned for Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Five things I learned from watching this video.

I want to share with you the five things I learned from watching the following video.

1). I learned how not to share the Gospel with Muslims (or anyone else for that matter).

2). I learned that there’s a time, place, and context in which to discuss the sordid, wicked, and scandalous origins and history of Islam (and Catholicism, and Mormonism, and Jehovah’s Witnesses, etc.) and that this wasn’t that proper time, place, or context.

3). I learned that it’s acceptable to insult, revile, mock, and distort the truth of Christianity and our Lord Jesus Christ, but bringing up the skeletons in the closet of those who started false religions will get you punched.

4). I learned how quickly people resort to violence and the “N”-word when angered.

5). I learned just how peaceful “Islam” truly is in practice.

Archbishop of Canterbury: ‘Christian doctrine is offensive to Muslims’

Mail Online

In a highly conciliatory letter to Islamic leaders calling for an alliance between the two faiths for ‘the common good’, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Rowan Williams, pronounced that not only is Christian doctrine offensive to Muslims, but that the Christian belief in the Trinity – that God is Father, Son and Holy Ghost at the same time – ‘is difficult, sometimes offensive, to Muslims’.

The Archbishop went on to push an ecumenical social ‘gospel’, saying:

‘We can together speak for those who have no voice or leverage in society – for the poorest, the most despised, the least powerful, for women and children, for migrants and minorities; and even to speak together for the great encompassing reality that has no voice of its own, our injured and abused material environment.’

Where’s that heckler who ranted against Gene Robinson when we need him, again?

Warning: You Might Soon Be A Criminal If You’re Christian!

From WorldNetDaily:

U.N. scheme to make Christians criminals

Sharia-following Islamic nations demanding anti-‘defamation’ law

Dozens of nations dominated by Islam are pressing the United Nations to adopt an anti-“defamation” plan that would make Christians criminals under international law, according to a United States organization that has launched a campaign to defend freedom of religion worldwide…

The discrimination is “wrapped in the guise of a U.N. resolution called ‘Combating Defamation of Religions,'” the announcement said. “We must put an immediate end to this most recent, dangerous attack on faith that attempts to criminalize Christianity.”

The “anti-defamation” plan has been submitted to the U.N. repeatedly since about 1999, starting out as a plan to ban “defamation” of Islam and later changed to refer to “religions,” officials said. It is being pushed by the 57-member Organization of the Islamic Conference nations, which has adopted the Cairo Declaration of Human Rights in Islam, “which states that all rights are subject to sharia law, and makes sharia law the only source of reference for human rights.”

A storm is brewing while the masses sleep.

Why have international terrorist Osama Bin Laden, and Iranian madman President Mahmoud Ahmad both offered the United States of America an opportunity to convert to Islam? Experts say that an invitation to convert to Islam always precedes an attack.

What kind of attack on the U.S. are officials worried about? An E.M.P. attack. What is an E.M.P. attack and how would it affect us?

For more on these questions I highly urge you to listen to this alarming 13 minute audio clip excerpt from Ron Rhodes’ message Islam: What You Need to Know. It may serve to wake some of us up to the reality of what’s coming ahead.

“What’s coming ahead?” I’m glad you asked. Check out the following news articles to get a possible idea.

A former head of Israel’s Mossad has warned that if Israel does not destroy Iran’s nuclear program within 12 months, they will be susceptible to a nuclear attack. He further warned that Israel may need to act sooner if the U.S. elects Barrack Obama.

Despite offering incentives, the West has failed to persuade Iran to stop enriching uranium. Israeli officials believe the diplomatic process is useless and have been pressing President Bush to launch air strikes before he leaves office on January 20 next year.

They apparently fear that the chances of winning American approval for an air attack will be drastically reduced if the Democratic nominee wins the election. Mr Obama advocates talks with the regime in Tehran rather than military action.

Joseph Lieberman has suggested the possibility of a terrorist attack on the United States in 2009.

“Our enemies will test the new president early,” Lieberman, I-Conn., told Face The Nation host Bob Schieffer. “Remember that the truck bombing of the World Trade Center happened in the first year of the Clinton administration. 9/11 happened in the first year of the Bush administration.”

Does Allah Think Mary is God?

According to Muslims, The Koran was spoken to the angel Gabriel, who gave it to Muhammad to write down. While I wouldn’t expect Allah to say the Trinity exists, I would certainly think he would be familiar with the doctrine. But, according to the Koran, apparently Allah believed the Trinity was the Father, the Son, and Mary.

Surah 5.116 says, “And behold! Allah will say: “O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah’?” He will say: “Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say)…”

I realize the Trinity can be difficult to understand, but how could the almighty creator of the universe be confused by it?

Muhammad was illiterate; even if he was not, he didn’t have a Bible in his native language. Maybe if he had a Bible in Arabic, and someone to read it to him, he could have been a little more accurate about what Christians believe when he composed the Koran out of whole cloth.

Quotes (159)

john-macarthur.jpg History is filled with accounts of people who choose to accept torture or death rather than deny the truth. In previous generations it was generally considered heroic to give your life for what you believed in. That is not necessarily the case anymore. Part of the problem, of course, is that terrorists and suicide bombers have co-opted the idea of “martyrdom” and turned it on its head. They call themselves “martyrs,” but they are suicidal murderers who kill people for not believing. Their violent aggression is actually the polar opposite of martyrdom, and the ruthless ideologies that drive them are the exact antitheses of truth. There is nothing heroic about what they do and nothing noble about what they stand for. But they are significant symbols of a deeply troubling trend that plagues this current generation worldwide. It seems there is no shortage of people nowadays willing to kill for a lie. Yet few seem to be willing to speak up for truth–much less die for it. Consider the testimonies of the Christian martyrs throughout history. They were valiant warriors for the truth. They were not terrorists or violent people, of course. But they “fought” for the truth by proclaiming it in the face of fierce opposition, by living lives that gave testimony to the power and goodness of truth, and by refusing to renounce or forsake the truth no matter what threats were made against them.

Islam: The religion of “peace” is at it again.

In this news article with accompanying video, a school teacher is in a Sudanese jail facing 40 lashes for allowing children in her class to name a teddy bear Mohammed.

As I shake my head at the barbaric behavior in which Islam constantly finds itself, I have to wonder if we harnessed just 10% of their fanaticism and applied it to our faith how much Christianity would be different than it is today in the West. I’m not talking about violence, cruelty, and terrorism. I’m talking a reverence for God, not watching movies where His name is blasphemed, not allowing an Elvis impersonator to lead worship, not depicting our Lord as a duck, not preaching sermons on the topic of God Loves Sex, not glorifying Las Vegas and poker in church, not inviting someone who’s opposed to everything our faith holds dear to speak at your church, not mocking the very Word of God with heretical versions of the Bible, not having scantly clad girls dancing on stage at a “Christian” Christmas concert, and the list goes on and on.

Maranatha!
