“Entertainment is not revival. Although that is an obvious statement, it is sadly not always understood. Too often it is assumed that an ‘atmosphere’ of revival can be achieved by using music, lighting and techno-media presentation. Highly organized events with attractive multi-coloured brochures can generate excitement and draw huge crowds, but it is misleading to think that ‘having a good time’ equates to spiritual revival. It is very easy to be negative about such displays but the problem remains that we lack spiritual vitality and life, and we are often boringly out of touch and tradition, or else events like that would not seem so attractive to young people. The sad fact is that we have an idea in our heads of something far better, but in our hearts and experience too often there is not much that is better.”

Quotes (363)

Every true revival is always, and without exception, based on the Word of God; the Bible is the only revealed Truth in the world and, in fact, ever has been; there is not a spiritual problem that is not addressed in the Word; there is not a difficulty for which it does not have a solution; there is not a question that it cannot answer; there is not a life that the God of its pages cannot change; there is not a broken heart that its Words cannot mend; there is not a darkness that its Light cannot dispel; not a sin that the Blood of its pages cannot wash away.

paul-washer.jpg God is a holy God, that’s something that the Americans have forgotten. Many of the things that you love to do, God hates. Did you know that? . . . . You’re going to have a youth meeting, you want God to move, but before you go there you watch programs on television that God absolutely despises and then you wonder why the Holy Spirit hasn’t fallen on a place and why you have to create false fire and false excitement.

Captured on video: Todd Bentley knees a man in the stomach with stage 4 colon cancer to facilitate a “healing.”

Todd Bentley bragged (in the video on this previous post) about kicking a lady in the face with his biker boot to heal her. In that same video he also boasted about tackling, leg-dropping, punching, and choking people to generate “healings.” Well, now he’s battered someone for real and it’s been caught on video.

And why did Todd Bentley unexpectedly and without warning run up to this dying man with colon cancer and knee him in the stomach? Because, as he says, “I had to be obedient to the Lord, sir.”

No, Mr. Bentley, if you were obeying the Lord you wouldn’t be doing this stuff.

A prophetic word from the Lord for Todd Bentley supporters.

While reading my Bible around 1am on May 29th, I received a Word from the Lord regarding all the controversy and debate surrounding Todd Bentley. This Prophetic Word that I received is for Bentley’s followers and supporters. It is found in its entirety below.

Thus says the Lord:

Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told you in advance.

Not everyone who says to Me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in Heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?” And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.”

Now, as any good Christian should do, (like the Bereans in Acts 17:11), do not just accept this Prophetic Word without verifying its truth by testing it against the revealed word of God in the Scriptures. For your convenience I’ve listed Scripture references below for you to check to assure that this Prophetic Word is truly from the Lord and not a counterfeit spirit.

Matthew 7:13-14 / John 10:1-5 / 1 Timothy 4:1 / 2 Thessalonians 2:11

2 Timothy 4:3-4 / Matthew 24:24-25 / Matthew 7:21-23

Todd Bentley’s disturbing account of his demonic visitation.

This two-part video is the best examination I’ve seen of Todd Bentley thus far. And one of the most disturbing! I encourage all believers to watch this video, especially those who are following the pied pipings of Bentley.

This video is of Bentley recounting his experience he claims he had with beings that he calls “angels.” He tells of being beamed up through a ceiling and placed onto an operating table in Heaven (seriously) where these “angels” strapped him down and cut him open (seriously).

If you want to know more about what possesses Todd Bentley I believe this two-part video says it all. I’m thinking “Legion.”

Part One:

Part Two: (This video has images depicting alien abduction that can be disturbing)

When false teachers collide . . .

. . . one is bound to end up on the floor flopping around like a demon possessed fish-out-of-water.

What happens when a false priest representing the Church of England meets a false prophet representing the church of self?

Bentley ends this spectacle repeating a word over and over again and I can’t help but wonder if he’s prophesying of what he sees in his own future.
