I couldn’t find a more appropriate quote for today than what I recently saw on a cup of Starbucks coffee. This apropos quote is by author Stephen Elliot:
“Politics is about getting outside of yourself and your own problems for a little while and fully immersing yourself in the lies and deceit of others.”

Yep that’s about what this year has been. I have been amazed at the number of christians who have been caught up in this Obamanation fever that seems to be sweeping not only our country but he world. In the UK all the talk is about the wonderful Obama. The years ahead don’t look promising.

HA! Love it. On a more serious tone, I enjoyed what Al Mohler had to say over at his blog. At the end of the post he says:
“May God bless America, not because this nation deserves to be blessed, but because He is a God of grace and mercy. Oh God . . . save us from ourselves.”
