Two years of thinking, planning, and dreaming…but not praying? Wow, I had to pray about which route to take to work in the morning. This fellow doesn’t even pray about changing his whole career or running for public office. Amazing.

It was my understanding that one of the things that the emergents thought was wrong with the rest of American Christianity was that they were too involved in politics. Maybe it’s just the issues Christians have picked that they don’t like.

I was the one who originally transcribed the interview between Todd Friel and Doug Pagitt. In light of the new “theology” that’s coming from the emergent camp, especially since the “Theology After Google” debacle, I think it important that this article receive a “bump”
