isaiah53Your sermon of the week is The Suffering Servant by Pastor J. Randall Easter. Pastor Easter preaches a great sermon from Isaiah 53 that I wished to share with the readers (and listeners) of DefCon. I plan to provide you with a sermon on the same subject by Phil Johnson next week.

  1. I happen to know Randall Easter. Have heard him preach, seen how he treats his wife and kids. Ridden motorcycles with him and seen him pull a wheelie. Bottom line: a solid man of God who rightly fears the Lord and humbly calls people to repentance and faith in the only One Who can save them from hell. He is a solid family man, to boot (study AW Tozer to discover how this is often not the case).

  2. This is a great sermon. In fact, all the sermons Easter preached during this revival were good.

    I am working on it. I will be adding more sermons from him in the future. Currently the next six Wednesday’s are all booked up with sermons. Thanks to the internet there’s not a shortage of good sermons to be found . . . there’s just not enough hours in the day.

    Unfortunately this will not last forever. I’m certain government restrictions will change our access to sermons in the future.

  4. Bwaaa-haaa-haaa! I’m not a groupie, but my soul rejoices when sound preaching reaches it! I thank the Lord for men who do not shrink back from proclaiming His Truth. He has allowed me to get to know those whom I am blessed in Christ to know.

    Regarding gummint action – I must refrain from “speaking” as what comes out defiles a man.
