Hinn defends Hinn.

Benny Hinn attempts to defend himself . . . he doesn’t do such a good job.

From Justin Taylor:

Just in case you need a refresher on the numbers, here’s some of what they found on an expense report:

  • cost of his 7,000 sq-ft house: $10-million
  • amount spent per month for his private jet: $112,000
  • price of his two cars: $80,000 each
  • cost per night for staying at 5,400 sq ft luxury hotel room during a “layover”: $10,800 per night paid
  • tips for a 3-day period: $4,500.

  1. One of the sad things is that so many think that prosperity is evidence of God’s blessing. Therefore, if he is so “blessed by God”, he must be doing God’s work. And by that reasoning, how many poor desperate souls in need of healing are being duped out of what little they have? The greater issue is, how many, convinced he is this “annointed” man of God, are being led astray by his false teachings?

God sees. God knows. God has given us the answer as to why the wicked prosper. Read Ps. 73.

  2. Whenever Benny does an interview he should just blow on the person doing the interview. That way they would be “slain in the spirit” and never question his antics. If that doesn’t work he could take off his coat and hit them with that. Or he could break out the holy ghost machine gun.

This man is such a joke. I believe 2 Timothy 3:2-7 describe Benny pretty good.

On a side note: I watched a video where Jesse Duplantis is saying that when God made the animals He didn’t know what they were. He had to wait for Adam to tell Him what they were. The audiance was just eating it up. Apparently when you are preaching false doctrine a few jokes, some funny noises, and some funny faces will get people to accept what you are saying.
Here I was thinking that the all knowing and all powerful God that sits outside of time and space knew what He was creating <sarcasm

  3. Benny Hinn is such a deciever. Hows how he fully flatters the guy from nightline at the very end?

I cannot helop but wonder why anybody who names the name of Christ would enjoy this guy!

A joke that should be jailed…

  4. old adam – Maybe Benny has been paying heed to Marlyn Hickey and spoken to his wallet!

“What do you need? Start creating it. Start speaking about it. Start speaking it into being. Speak to your billfold. Say, You big, thick billfold full of money.” Speak to your checkbook. Say, “You, checkbook, you. You’ve never been so
prosperous since I owned you. You’re just jammed full of money.” from audiotape 186, Claim Your Miracle; Marilyn

  6. “You will know them by their fruits.” Jesus Christ, Matthew 7:16-20. “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” This is what awaits Benny and those like him.

  7. Matthew – thank you for your kind comment. That file was produced several years back when my wife took over as librarian at our then-church library. People had donated all kinds of stuff and she asked me for a desk-top guide to weed out false teachers. On the page that has that file linked: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
    (1 John 4:1)

Okie Preacher – are you in Oklahoma? If so, where? My wife and I recently bought property north of Gowan, to which we intend to flee upon my desisting from corporate life.

  8. Hinn wanted someone to ask those questions all those years. I must have missed the answers. nothing new from Hinn. He did nothing but defend himself, plus his publisist got a plug in for Hinn’s new book( arranged before hand of course.) Why people still listen to this false prophet I’ll never know. He is as false as they come and as obvious

  9. Jude,

People listen to the likes of Hinn because that’s what they WANT to hear. It’s the iching ear syndrome. Basically the same reason that people in so called evangelical churches are satified with inept, powerless preaching/teaching. “They will not come to the truth so that their deeds may be made manifest”. John 3

  10. Matthew 7:16 tells us that we can know the false prophets by their “fruit”. The “fruit” is not his claimed healings or popular and well-attended meetings. The “fruit” of the prophet is what he prophesies. He claims an authority to declare what God has imparted to him. So, what about Benny? He claimed a Holy Spirit anointing to tell us that Fidel Castro would die “in the nineties”. At the same time as Catro’s passing, Benny prophesied, all the homosexuals in the USA would be destroyed “by the fire of God”. That really is mass slaughter! Did it happen? Look at Deuteronomy 18:20-22.
And his fans insist it doesn’t matter!
