I’m so tired of pastors preaching this false doctrine. Living in dallas ( the home of tony Evans, chuck swindoll and other heretics), I have to deal with the proponents of “carnal christianity” and “easy believism” almost every time that I go out evangelizing with a group of “christians”
Im also shocked that Piper preached in support of this foolishness. SMH.

Piper explains his view differently than the classic Campus Crusade for Christ drawings. In the CCC drawings, the carnal Christian is still on the throne of his own life. Piper does not make this error. Christ is Lord and Savior of a carnal Christian’s life. The carnal Christian is simply showing less holiness than the spiritual Christian. Piper clarifies this is not a difference in state, but a difference in degree of maturity.
