Living dinosaurs (part two).

After viewing the Kent Hovind video on Dinosaurs, (which I posted in part one), I was so intrigued by the idea that some dinosaurs may very well be alive today, that I began doing a little research and found some fascinating Cryptozoological videos that you may interested in.

Remember, when you watch these videos that some of these creatures–according to the expert Atheist evolutionists–are supposed to have died off “millions and millions of years ago.

Enjoy.

Living Dinosaurs (part one).

(Be sure to check out Living Dinosaurs Part Two for some incredible videos)

I recently watched some of Kent Hovind’s creation seminar series and was awestruck with part three of his series. In part three (which you can view below) he examines the topic of dinosaurs and whether or not there are some alive today.

I sat glued to this video, riveted by the idea some of these creatures supposedly gone extinct “millions and millions of years ago” are actually still alive in such places like the largely unexplored regions of the African Congo.

To give you an idea of what the swamp in the Congo looks like, here’s some pictures I found on the internet that were taken by a scientist while down there (see here and here) collecting information. This is the same swamp where natives identify a large creature known as Mokele-Mbembe.

Book review: “The True Story of Noah’s Ark” by Tom Dooley (illustrated by Bill Looney).

This is a great children’s book that seeks to accurately portray the truth about the great flood and Noah’s Ark. It is just over 70 pages and each page contains the beautiful illustrations of Bill Looney. The book, entitled The True Story of Noah’s Ark makes you feel like you were really there. The book also comes with an audio book CD and is recommended by Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis.

Vatican To Mark 150th Anniversary Of The Publication Of “The Origin Of The Species”

It doesn’t surprise me one bit now, really, that the Vatican would say that Creation and Evolution are compatible, seeing that they have just recently stated that there might be extra-terrestrial life out there.

From Times Online, 23 May 2008:

The Vatican is planning a special conference in 2009 to mark the 150th anniversary of the publication of The Origin of the Species, Charles Darwin’s groundbreaking theory of evolution.

First printed in November 1859, Darwin’s evolutionary theories rocked the faith of Victorian Christians and are stoutly contested today by Creationists. The Vatican has traditionally backed a more nuanced approach. Three years ago, Cardinal Paul Poupard, the then president of the Pontifical Council for Culture, said Darwin’s theory of Evolution and the Old Testament book of Genesis were “perfectly compatible” if the Bible were correctly read, saying: “The fundamentalists want to give a scientific meaning to words that had no scientific aim,” explaining that the real message in Genesis was that “the universe didn’t make itself and had a creator.”

Next year’s conference will be held in Rome and organised by Poupard’s former office, the Pontifical Council for Culture as well as by the University of Notre Dame and six pontifical universities. The event, claim its organisers, is a milestone in the rapprochement between science and the Church. They say it is time for the Church to look at Evolution again, “from a broader perspective”, explaining “appropriate consideration is needed more than ever before.”

Professor Gennaro Auletta, who is head of the Science and Philosophy faculty at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome and the main conference organiser told Edward Pentin of Newsweek (Newsweek Blog): “We hope this will really be an example of how to hold an open discussion without overtones. We simply wish to dialogue between people whose mission is to understand a little more.”

Say, Cardinal, how about giving us some actual Biblical support for that statement of yours instead of making an irresponsible claim like “…if the Bible was correctly read”? Oh, silly me, I forget, only the Vatican has the “full knowledge” on how the Bible is to be interpreted, and we Protestants are just milling around in our confusion and getting it all wrong. I’ve always thought that God saw all that He made and it was very good (Genesis 1:31).

The Miraculous Evolution of Bats

Bats are the only flying mammal. Many bat species are also visually blind, but with echolocation (sonar), they can “see” better than humans.

Evolutionists have zero plausible theories about how bats evolved. However I have heard one rather silly theory that bats evolved from shrews. Did the intermediate species gradually grow really long fingers on their front feet, dreaming of the day when its progeny could gracefully fly? What advantage would really long fingers have? Why did the flaps of skin appear between the fingers? How did the bat learn to fly?

Why did the shrews lose their amazingly complex ability to see, and how could such an amazingly complex ability to use sonar come about? How long did bats live without their sight before they developed their sonar? Bat sonar is much more complex and powerful than any man-made sonar. No one has any idea how this could have evolved.

Atheists accuse creationists of having a God of the gaps—using God to explain the gaps in our knowledge. If an atheist persists in saying bats must have evolved when there is no evidence, or even a theory of how it could have happened, who is really the one with blind faith?
