There’s a beautiful story coming out of England that will melt your heart. A story of love, sacrifice, forgiveness, and doing what’s right when almost everyone around you is telling you to do what is wicked.
In this article from the Daily Mail, a 19 year old tells of her rape that occurred when she was 16. That rape left her pregnant, and against all the counsel she received (including her dad’s), and against all worldly “logic,” she chose to have the baby.
This is a fantastic article and a great story of inspiration . . . one that Planned Parenthood wouldn’t be too happy about.
Wow! Deep…
“‘We had always been regular churchgoers in our community before this. But we faced so many barbed comments from people at church that we stopped going there and went somewhere else. Sometimes, it has felt like me and Elizabeth against the rest of the world.'”
Now THAT I find one of the saddest parts of the story.

Berry,
I also found that to be one of the saddest parts of the story. Unfortunately, prejudices, outworking of human depravity, and judgmentalism are too often found in the places where it should not be – a local church!
To clarify before somebody thinks I am backing away from my strong stance on convictions and Biblical practices — By this I am NOT referring to the judging of sin which is commanded in the Bible. I am referring ONLY to the way that those claiming to be children of the living God are often quick to jump to conclusions before they know the facts like this young lady’s situation.
About the only thing that would make the story even sadder was if the church in question was a so-called evangelical church. Having pastored in England, we saw too much of “Christians” sticking their noses up at others who did not look, smell, or dress just like them. Too often they would forget that if it was NOT for the grace of God, they could be in similar situations as those to whom they look down their noses.
Praise to the Lord that this young woman and her mum were willing to go against the grain, and do what was right before God and not murder that child for the sins of the father. Let’s pray that if this family are not true believers, that they will be directed to a Bible preaching evangelical church and know soon the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

How wonderful to see a young lady that is doing right against all odds! Most girls would have just done what they were told so they wouldn’t have to deal with what everyone thought of them! What a testimony!
