  1. What can wash away my sin— nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again— nothing but the blood of Jesus. It is good to hear godly preachers who preach the gospel. Sermons like this make all the compromisers nothing and powerless. God’s Word is powerful. Thank you

Ah, ye should have the pleasure I do to hear brother Voddie as he preaches to the church in Houston. 1 March 2009 he preached from Gen 21:8-21 and rarely have I heard a more concise explanation of the redemptive work of God, for the glory of the Lord Jesus, by the work of the Spirit.     Grace Family makes CDs each Sunday and sells them for $5 – each sermon. A few sermons are posted on our web site at that link I posted – but not enough to satisfy me 🙂 As far as I know, Voddie does not publish his sermons – but I’ll ask him tonight (he leads our small group study of the 1689 London Baptist Confession), if I can remember to do so.

    This past Sunday’s message was on Matthew 5:17 – 20. Once again, I was un-done by the holiness of God and realization of what Christ was saying to the religious folk of the day. Week by week, whether it be Paul or Voddie, the preaching of the Word of God at Grace crushes the flesh and nourishes the soul beyond anything I’ve sat under before in my life.

    With much rejoicing in the Lord – for the Lamb of God has fully satisfied the wrath of God and seated me at His table!
