Thanks so much for posting this. I just started reading a book called “The Pilgrim Church” by E.H. Broadbent, which covers some of this and much more, so for me it’s a very relevant topic.

Interesting, how bits of these heresies remain, being held to tightly by folks who want to be god in one way or another.

One verse is all that is required to overthrow this:
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
Yes, it’s true that modern translations took that verse out and it’s only been since then that it’s more difficult to cast down.
But then we can always refer to:
Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
