The babbling babbler babbles about Babel.

This is the third of a series of four videos on Jesse Duplantis’ utterly heretical teachings that we’re featuring here on DefCon so you can better understand just how sinister the Charismatic Word of Faith movement really is (see parts one here and two here).

In the following video watch how this great deceiver twists yet more Scripture and subtly manipulates his undiscerning followers to believe his Satanically inspired closing point that “there’s nothing man can’t do.”

Come Judgment Day I am certain he will be singing a different tune, but for his biblically illiterate followers it will be too late.

If only his blind followers read the Scriptures for themselves they’d know they were being lied to.

The LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men HAD BUILT.

Genesis 11:5

So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of the whole earth; and they STOPPED BUILDING the city.

Genesis 11:8

  1. Blasphemy! Two pagans can rule God – that’s what Duplantis is saying! Same as Osteen, claiming Zechariah was struck mute because God knew Zechariah would speak a word of faith contrary to God’s plan!

These men are wretched with no fear of God and no understanding of His Word. The sad people who “Amen” these wicked teachers need our pity and prayers.

  2. He said “Now the King James translates this perfectly in Hebrew.”

He sure can’t interprate it perfectly.

He said “they imagined they did”

    I say to Jesse,

Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

  3. How are people even stupid enough to fall for this garbage?? This is such blatant distortion of God’s Word, that I can’t understand how even the least discerning of believers are not catching the lies this guy is spewing. I “youtubed” Duplantis, and what do ya know, there’s Pat Robertson promoting his stuff too. Breaks my heart….

  4. Give me a complete break… the sad thing is he knows the majority of them will not really read the passage, but just go along with what he has said.

  5. Here it is again…a perfect example of someone trying to teach something new again! Something that no one else has seen but he has. I think these people do this so they can get more people to listen to them! Pride says, “Look what I found in the Bible that no one else found. I’m really something great and you’d better listen to what I have to say now!” Disgusting!

  6. I used to feel sympathy for the followers of these deceivers like Duplantis or Osteen…that they’re being preyed upon, taken advantage of. But by and large, these people are getting what they want (i.e., warped teaching). Nevertheless, as Manfred stated above, they need our prayers.

  7. What struck me the most about this piece of garbage, was not what he was teaching (none of it surprises me anymore), but the way he was teaching it. When he spoke his own words, they were slow, measured and careful. Whan he “read” from Scripture, he plowed through it so as it was barely understandable. Why? Firstly because he has no reverence, love nor respect for Scripture, and secondly, because he is using it purely to make his own point. He is not reading it slowly, exegeting it as he goes, but intead, violating it to serve his own beliefs.

I have seen this time and again with charismatic, word of faith teachers. They present their own ideas and back it up with a bit of Scripture which is twisted and out of context. Scripture is meant to guide us and teach us; not back up our own ideas.

Are people really that stupid that they would accept this? Yet again, I’m stunned.

I think the title of this post is very appropriate. JD sure does some babbling.

He does like to read Scripture very fast.

  9. Yeah Jesse, go outside and ‘speak’ that freight train not to hit you and watch how it will miraculously go around you.

Is there nothing you can’t do?

    NO, LITTLE MAN!

There is nothing you CAN do.
