  1. Is there a clip without the music. I want to show it to my friends but the music makes it seem like a joke.

    Thanks

  2. Most church goers in most countries – I would venture – have been inoculated against Christ. A little bit of religion will do that.

    Ryle reminds us:

Let it be a settled principle in our religion that when a man brings forth no fruits of the Spirit, he has not the Holy Spirit within him. Let us resist as a deadly error the common idea, that all baptized people are born again, and that all members of the Church, as a matter of course, have the Holy Spirit. One simple question must be our rule: What fruit does a man bring forth? Does he repent? Does he believe with the heart on Jesus? Does he live a holy life? Does he overcome the world? Habits like these are what Scripture calls “fruit.” When these “fruits” are lacking, it is profane to talk of a man having the Spirit of God within him.

  3. The true Gospel is so powerful that I am not sure men – who are inherently weak and foolish and filthy with sin – have the power to “inoculate” someone from it. False teaching is a vile and dangerous thing and must be condemned, but it’s no match for the power of God in Christ, when His Truth is faithfully proclaimed.

  4. Manfred:

I’ve seen the E.I.H. post as well, and I highly recommend reading it. Particularly apropos to today’s pulpits is the last paragraph:

” Please, keep in mind that those pastors and teachers who are carriers of EIH may not personally be promoting or believing any heresies. Instead, they are promoting new ‘innovative’ methodologies and church structures that eliminate and/or effectively neutralize the Body of Christ’s immune system. The heresies that will kill the congregation will be introduced after the immune system has been neutralized. EIH’s primary mission is to render the Body of Christ defenseless against the coming heretical attacks.”

How exactly he describes just what so many popular, big-name celebrity preachers are doing today! Great article!
