The wanna-be anti-Christ: “Behold, he is in Houston; Behold, he is in Miami; Behold he is in prison serving time for heroin possession”.

Not only does the con-man in the following videos claim to be Jesus Christ, but he denies the existence of Hell and sin and claims that Jesus came to “take away the law.” But this false-Christ who’s damning souls to the very Hell he denies is in direct opposition to the words of Christ when our Lord said, “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill” (Matthew 5:17). And that’s just one of his many errors.

In this next video he explains why he wears a Rolex. It’s comical to watch the interview because it seems like he’s making this stuff up as he goes, but then reality strikes when you see the kids involved in this mess.

In the following video he claims he’s teaching the “mysteries” of the Bible (that one never seems to get old and there’s always an endless supply of people who swallow that one). He also claims he was visited by angels and even Jesus Himself . . . sound familiar? Think Mormonism, and Todd Bentley. I wonder if this is why he moved to Texas . . . can Florida can only handle one major false prophet at a time? But this devil has a soft side; in this video he says that he feels hurt if someone calls him a sinner.

Glenn Beck (a Mormon) is relentless in his interview with the con-man in the next video (yet Glenn Beck can’t see the folly and error that permeates his own cult . . . strange).

And finally, to top it all off, here’s the video of the 666 tattoos. And listen carefully as this false prophet says that he does greater things than Jesus. It kinda reminds me of this quote from the LDS false prophet Joseph Smith (but let’s avoid pointing out the striking similarities found among all the cults or we’ll be here all day).

On a side note, I noticed the church members in these videos seemed very sincere in their worship. I wonder if they are experiencing the same thing those following Todd Bentley are? After all, who are we to “judge” them by comparing their emotional experiences with those archaic Scriptures we keep referring to?

*****

Then if anyone says to you, “Behold, here is the Christ,” or “There He is,” do not believe him. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told you in advance. So if they say to you, “Behold, He is in the wilderness,” do not go out, or, “Behold, He is in the inner rooms,” do not believe them. For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.

Matthew 24:23-28

What’s in a name? Just ask Creflo DOLLAR

Skimming through the blogosphere, I ran across this article by PJ Miller at Sola Dei Gloria. Not content to let todd Bentley be the only one commanding angels, Cashflow Creflo has decided to ratchet up his heretical pattern of demanding that God do what Creflo commands Him to do:

Angel Power Confession

Because I am the righteousness of God, angels have been sent to minister to me. They respond to the Word of God which I speak. Therefore, I loose angels with the words of my mouth. I say today, let the Lord be magnified who takes pleasure in my prosperity. In the name of Jesus, I command the angels to bring to me prosperity in my spirit, in my home, in my body, in my family life, and in my finances.

I declare promotion and command the angels to bring promotion into my life. I have a blood-bought covenant promise from God Almighty to multiply exceedingly. Therefore, I confess I am exceedingly fruitful and blessed, right now, in Jesus’ name! I command the angels of God to go and bring this covenant to pass in my life now! I have the power to get wealth, and release the angels to bring wealth into my life.

I declare right now that I am healthy, healed, delivered, and freed from the bondage of sin. I am the head always, and never the tail. I am above only, and never beneath. I lend, not borrow, and everything I put my hands to prospers.

I walk in the favor of God and my favor is increased even as I am speaking. I have more than enough money to pay every bill that comes in, and I declare I am totally debt-free now! I have the authority of Heaven and in the name of Jesus, I declare that whatever I bind on the Earth, is bound in Heaven, and whatever I loose on the Earth, is loosed in Heaven.(source)

I don’t even know where to begin with this nonsense. The angels are NOT at our command. We can no more command angels than we can command God. We are never promised health or wealth. I wonder why it is that all thse heretics who love to go around spouting about how Abraham was rich, David was rich, Solomon was rich–but they never once talk about how the apostles, after they started spreading the gospel, were never rich. They lost everything. All of them–save John–were martyred insome of the most gruesome ways possible. We could spend all day talking about how the apostle Paul’s life wasn’t always sunshine and puppies after he started preaching the gospel. But these robbers and thieves won’t tell you these things. They’ll just cherry-pick a few verses, twist them in the molst abominable ways, and abscond with your cash.

As they command angels. Hogwash.

A prophetic word from the Lord for Todd Bentley supporters.

While reading my Bible around 1am on May 29th, I received a Word from the Lord regarding all the controversy and debate surrounding Todd Bentley. This Prophetic Word that I received is for Bentley’s followers and supporters. It is found in its entirety below.

Thus says the Lord:

Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told you in advance.

Not everyone who says to Me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in Heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?” And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.”

Now, as any good Christian should do, (like the Bereans in Acts 17:11), do not just accept this Prophetic Word without verifying its truth by testing it against the revealed word of God in the Scriptures. For your convenience I’ve listed Scripture references below for you to check to assure that this Prophetic Word is truly from the Lord and not a counterfeit spirit.

Top 10 Responses To Anyone Daring To Point Out False Teachers And Teachings

Having been in the ministry of pointing out false teachers and their false teachings for close to a year now (most of it is on my old blog which I am hoping to port over soon), I have come across some pretty standard responses in the comments of those who say I, and others like myself, have no business doing so.

So I thought, why not do up a Top 10 list of the most common responses to our posts on these false teachers and their teachings? My wife thought it was a good idea, and I’ve also mentioned this to Carol and a new friend I made, John, just this morning over Skype. I hope we can get together to compile our responses to these accusations soon.

Anyhow, since our response to their allegations will be some time coming, here’s my Top 10 list in the meantime. The list is by no means exhaustive, so please feel free to add yours from your experience in dealing with such comments.

10. Touch not God’s anointed! Pastor so-and-so is very much anointed by God!

09. And how many souls did you yourself save this week? Pastor so-and-so had 2,000 conversions just last weekend. Have you ever been able to reach that many yourself?!

08. Quit criticizing preachers and pastors. Get a life with God, man!

07. You’re nothing but a Pharisee/Sadducee.

06. Who are you to judge?! Judge not lest you be judged!

05. Are you a pastor yourself? Any theological training? If not, how dare you think you are interpreting the Bible correctly?

04. Hey! Don’t quench the Spirit!

03. No church or pastor or congregation is perfect, so why nitpick?

02. God wants to bless us financially, with good health and a great life. If you yourself aren’t claiming these promises, don’t be jealous of others!

And the number one response…

Can’t we all just agree to disagree and get along?

Tackling, leg-dropping, punching, choking, and kicking ladies in the face: Todd Bentley’s new way of healing.

Uh, yeah. There’s Biblical precedence for this in the Scriptures. Right.

How come when these serpents tell of great healings which can be seen visually (raising the dead, limbs growing, tumors falling off people, etc.) there’s never a camera around to capture it? And why wasn’t there a camera around when he was beating these people to better health?

There was when he battered this guy.

Todd Bentley’s disturbing account of his demonic visitation.

This two-part video is the best examination I’ve seen of Todd Bentley thus far. And one of the most disturbing! I encourage all believers to watch this video, especially those who are following the pied pipings of Bentley.

This video is of Bentley recounting his experience he claims he had with beings that he calls “angels.” He tells of being beamed up through a ceiling and placed onto an operating table in Heaven (seriously) where these “angels” strapped him down and cut him open (seriously).

If you want to know more about what possesses Todd Bentley I believe this two-part video says it all. I’m thinking “Legion.”

Part One:

Part Two: (This video has images depicting alien abduction that can be disturbing)

My demon possessed false prophet can out-sign-and-wonder your demon possessed false prophet.

Just when you thought Romanism had the market on stigmata and liquids oozing from statues, the signs and wonders wolves in this video are now giving the superstitious Roman Catholics and Charismatic Bentley-ites a run for their money.

Let’s see Todd Bentley do this:

What possesses Todd Bentley?

After watching this video (especially after the five-minute mark) I am thoroughly convinced that this is nothing other than pure demonic possession and you are witnessing demonic manifestations taking place.

Especially look for the unnatural almost non-human way Todd Bentley’s head twitches, quivers, and shakes uncontrollably. You can also see this same phenomenon occur in this short video.

When false teachers collide . . .

. . . one is bound to end up on the floor flopping around like a demon possessed fish-out-of-water.

What happens when a false priest representing the Church of England meets a false prophet representing the church of self?

Bentley ends this spectacle repeating a word over and over again and I can’t help but wonder if he’s prophesying of what he sees in his own future.

“Don’t bother reading your Bible”

Over the last few years, I’ve noticed a pattern among many false religions and false teachers of the Word.

Catholicism–Don’t bother reading your Bible. You can’t understand it. Let the Magisterium tell you what it means.

Mormonism–Don’t bother reading your Bible. You can’t trust it, it’s been corrupted. Just let the General Authorities tell you what it means.

Jehovah’s Witnesses–Don’t bother reading your Bible. You can’t interpret it. Just let the Watchtower tell you what it means.

Postmodernism–Don’t bother reading your Bible. Nobody can understand. No one knows what it means.

Warrenism–Don’t bother reading your Bible. Unless it’s “The Message” because that’s the only one anybody can understand. Just read your “Purpose Driven Life” and let Rick Warren tell you your purose.

Prosperity “Gospel”–Don’t bother reading your Bible. Satan won’t let you understand it. Just blindly swallow the verses we cherry-pick and take out of context.

Lying Signs and Satanic Wonders Movement–Don’t bother reading your Bible. Only Pharisees try to undertsand it. Just trust the dog-and-pony-show, I mean sleight-of-hand, I mean signs and wonders we perform on stage every night.

On the other hand, the Bible tells us that even the words of the Old Testament alone are enough to lead us into truth. “from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2nd Timothy 3:15). And we have the Holy Spirit, of whom Jesus said, “He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). So we don’t need a Magistreium, or General Authorities, or a Watchtower, or lying signs and Satanic wonders to lead us into truth. By the leading of the Holy Spirit in opening His Scripture to us, He will lead us into the truth.

Double entendres, yoga, youth group hot-tubbing and men in drag: A glimpse into the life of one American Church.

The oh so hip and relevant “church” that brought you The Gospel According to Bruce Springsteen, now brings you associate pastor Mike Moran’s sermon scheduled for Sunday, May 25th from his Relationships ‘R’ Us series entitled “Part 4: Sometimes You Have to Use the ‘F’ Word.” Seriously folks, I can’t make this stuff up.

And apparently this church’s youth activities include mixing teen boys and girls in a hot tub together. But whatever you may be thinking about Grace United Methodist Church, they recommend you don’t ask too many questions about the man dressed in drag in this flash presentation (which happens to be presented in the context of people who worship and praise God in all kinds of ways imaginable).

The gospel according to Bruce Springsteen.

Leave your Bibles at home for this one folks; a whole month of sermons based on Bruce Springsteen’s lyrics await you at Grace United Methodist Church (and the descent into complete apostasy continues).

Read this article about the Reverend Morris Brown using Bruce Springsteen’s music to teach the Bible.

Brown says a lot of thought is being put into the sermons so as to not alienate non-Springsteen fans.

Whew, thanks Reverend Brown. Now what about not alienating those who expect faithfulness to the preaching of the Word, sound biblical teaching, a separation from the world, and a reverence for the things of God? Or have those “fundamentalists” already been run off long ago?

His past series offerings playing off pop culture have included a “Games People Play” summer series using board-game strategy and “Lessons from the Motley Crew,” in which the sermons played off the name of the popular rock band Mötley Crüe to talk about spiritual lessons to be learned from the lives of Jesus’ 12 disciples and Mary Magdalene.

I can only imagine what’s next.

Oh wait, I don’t have to imagine, there is more here.

Straight Reporting From Someone Who Once Trusted Todd Bentley

Pray for Dawn that God continues to help her discern the falsehoods that Todd Bentley is peddling, and may this testimony from her reach many others who might still be blinded by the circus.

I have attended this revival for many weeks. In fact, I have been there since the second night of Todd’s meetings (4/2/08), long before this became “revival”. Initially, I was so excited to see God move in such a mighty way. I was encouraging my pastor, several other pastors that I know, many friends and family members to “come and see what God is doing.” There were few times when I was uncomfortable with what was happening in the meetings, but I figured that I was just being critical and reminded myself that God’s ways are not my ways. I continued to support this revival, even after I heard my own pastor voice his concerns. I was quite vocal about these misgivings others had. I continued to defend Todd, God, etc., etc.

However, as time as passed, I have become increasing concerned about several things. First of all, I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years (in radiology). I have noticed that there have only been a very few “documented” miracles in comparison to the numbers that have claimed miracles. I am aware of at least two claims of healing that I believe to have possibly been real. There was the child with the elbow fracture and her x-rays. However, I would like to know the dates between the first set of x-rays and the 2nd, as healing, especially with very young children can be quite quick…especially if it was very mild fracture. Also, I would love to see the type of fracture, position, and the view (AP, lateral, etc.) of the second set of films. (Sometimes a particular view will not show the fracture that is actually there.) There was also a young man who testified one night (before TV/internet) about being healed from Hepatitis C, with the lab work to confirm. Again, with false positive/negatives that can happen with labs. I’d love to see what his actual lab values were and see a retesting to confirm. Although I do believe that this individual could very well have been healed, but because of how I’ve seen other things handled in this revival, I would just like to see more documentation.

Much of the “miracles” that I have seen over the weeks have been based more on what people believe that have happened, more than medically documented miracles. Many times over I have seen people with metal rods in their spine be “healed”. Todd will ask, what couldn’t you do, and usually has them bend over. This act of bending over is declared as a miracle. It is not. Most folks with metal rods in their back or neck CAN bend over, as these rods (Harrington rods) very seldom go the entire length of the spine. In fact, I have metal plates/screws in my neck and can bend my head from side to side and front to back. I remember one night when a woman with bulging discs in her neck came up to declare her healing. Todd felt along her spine and said “I don’t feel any bulging discs in your neck”, and then announced she had been healed. A disc bulge is something that you will NOT detected by running your hand up and down the spine. It is not something that can be physically palpated. Only imaging with MRI or CT would show the presence of disc bulges and if they were compressing nerve roots or affecting the spinal cord/spinal canal. I saw where this declaration of healing caused the room the go wild. My feeling is that if this is truly a bonafied healing…PRAISE GOD! But let’s confirm these miracles. That is what the world really needs to see! But alas, very few healings are actually being confirmed.

Secondly, my concern is the focus that has been placed on Angels, visitations, manifestations, etc. Although Jesus is mentioned throughout the night, though an altar call is given… far more emphasis is being placed on these other things than is acutally being given to the Jesus and him crucified (as Paul would say). The cross, the resurrection, holiness, repentance, dying to the flesh, etc., are merely glossed over and not really preached. What is being given more time, more emphasis are these other “experiences”.

The atmosphere here has changed from the very first meetings…at least it seems to me. And as I said earlier, I have been at revival since April 3rd…the 2nd night Todd was here in Lakeland. Something is wrong and I am concerned. Somehow the gospel that saves and keeps is not being preached as it should. Jesus…not even the Holy Spirit… is to be focus. In the Gospel of John, it says the when the comforter (Holy Spirit) would come, it would not speak of himself, but of Jesus. My concern is growing. I think we need to really pray and ask for discernment. I’m all for revival. I am all for miracles. But is there another Jesus, another gospel that is being preached here?

The Billy Graham tapes.

The Watergate tapes weren’t the only recordings to come out of the Nixon presidency that shed light on otherwise secret conversations, hidden agendas, and dark hearts. Another recording that is just as damaging but has been all but forgotten occurred between President Richard Nixon and well-known evangelist universalist Billy Graham.

On the tapes Billy Graham calls the Jewish influence on the media a “stronghold” that “has to be broken or this country’s going down the drain.

The conversation continues:

Nixon: “You believe that?”

Graham: “Yes, sir.”

Nixon: “Oh boy. So do I. I can’t ever say that but I believe it.”

Graham: “If you get elected a second time, then we might be able to do something.”

Here’s one more exchange:

Graham: “A lot of Jews are great friends of mine. They swarm around me and are friendly to me, because they know that I am friendly to Israel and so forth, but they don’t know how I really feel about what they’re doing to this country, and I have no power and no way to handle them.”

Nixon: “You must not let them know.”

No Armor For the Back

In the Valley of Humiliation, poor Christian was hard put to it; for he had gone a little way before he espied a foul fiend coming over the field to meet him: his name is Apollyon. Then Christian began to be afraid, and to wonder whether to go back or to stand his ground. But he remembered that he had no armor for his back, and therefore thought that to turn around might give Apollyon greater ease to pierce him with darts; therefore he resolved to venture and stand his ground.

Are Christian bookstore owners responsible for what they sell?

Back in February I asked the question do you support your local Christian bookstore?

I now have a follow-up question:

Are the owners of Christian bookstores responsible to their fellow-Christians, the Church, and ultimately God, for the products they sell?

This past week I entered another one of these Christian book and paraphernalia bazaars. The first faces I saw staring back at me as soon as I entered were the prominently displayed faces of Joel Osteen, Juanita Bynum, TD Jakes, and Joyce Meyer (just to name a few) along with all the “Jesus junk” and trinkets that adorned the shelves and displays from wall to wall. A few more steps and I was struck with Rob Bell’s book Sex God and his Nooma videos

Another disturbing book I unexpectedly came across was a children’s book on the virgin Mary and praying the Rosary. In this book were Romanism’s false teaching of Mary being crowned Queen of Heaven and Queen of the universe. This was in a “Christian” bookstore!

I recall a brief conversation I had with the owner of one of these bookstore a few months back in which he provided me two excuses reasons why he sold the merchandise of such heretical teachers as Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, Brian McLaren and Rob Bell. He said he 1). cannot possibly read every book that he sells; and that he 2). does not want to promote censorship.

This was such a sad example of wiggling around his deeper responsibility to not lead people astray. First of all he can’t be accused of censorship for not carrying certain books anymore than he an be accused of censorship for not allowing these types of books into his home. He owns his home, he owns the bookstore. He–as a retailer–has the right to sell whatever he does or does not want on his shelves, which explains the absence of such material as the Book of Mormon, the Satanic Bible or pornography. Is the absence of these books considered “censorship?” Furthermore, in order for his refusal to carry certain books to qualify as “censorship” he would have to be a representative of the government.

Secondly, the “I can’t possibly read every book I sell” excuse is a cop-out. You don’t have to read every book by Brian McLaren, Rob Bell or Robert Schuller to know that they’re spreading heresy . . . it’s common knowledge! And if you’re not that aware of what’s going on or you lack discernment regarding the wolves among us, a quick internet search will tell you all you need to know.

Do you need to read every issue of the Awake! that the Watchtower organization produces to be able to confidently say that they are a cult and thus not carry their material? Of course not. So why do certain big name heretics and false teachers under the umbrella of evangelicalism get a pass by the guise of willful ignorance?

These bookstore owners are knowingly or unknowingly selling doctrines of demons; material that an impressionable undiscerning person could buy which would lead them on the primrose path to Hell. This leads me to ask, will these bookstore owners be held responsible before God for selling these heretical, apostate, and often times blasphemous doctrines of wolves in sheep’s clothing?
