Here’s the news story from MLive.com.
There’s an interesting story coming out of California in which a student’s freedom of speech was obstructed by the public school she attends. Apparently she wore a pro-life t-shirt to school and was forced to remove it. The “offensive” shirt contained two pictures of a baby growing in the womb but this is apparently too much for the public school to handle. The picture heading this post was what was on the girl’s shirt.
Ironically, these same images are found in the school’s textbooks and are acceptable in that context, however, when they’re displayed on a shirt accompanied with a pro-life message, then the images magically become offensive.
One of the girl’s lawyers, Mark A. Thiel, said that the images on her shirt of a fetus in the womb were same as those in her science textbooks. He said no student had complained about the shirt, and he said the girl’s parents were not called when the incident took place.
So was it really the images that the school found so offensive, or was it the message, and the images were only the excuse? I think the answer is obvious.
What’s equally amazing to me is that the author, Maxim Lott, in this news piece had this to say:
The shirt the girl was wearing displays two graphic pictures of a fetus growing in the womb.
Oh, how far we have fallen in our “enlightened” society when gratuitous sex and violence are portrayed on a daily basis (in music, movies, television, books, video games, and even t-shirts) and is considered acceptable, but the beautiful pictures of the miracle of life as it grows in the womb is now referred to as “graphic pictures.”
Woe unto us, woe unto us indeed.
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight!
– Isaiah 5:20-21
King Solomon said there was nothing new under the sun, but this pushes the limits. Take a look at the following picture and consider for a moment what you think it is. A mother posing for a picture with her newborn daughter? Wrong!

This is a picture of a mother posing with her daughter, Tess, who she just paid an abortionist to kill.
Why the picture? It was part of a “memorial service” following the murder of Tess in the abortionist’s infanticide facility in which he drove a pair of scissors into the back or Tess’ skull and evacuated its content–killing her in a most horrific fashion. And do you know who this murderer was that so barbarically ended the life of baby Tess? None other than the church-going George Tiller.
A memorial service in the abortion mill where you just paid a man to kill your daughter . . . it’s like putting lipstick on a bullet.

The Pilgrim has written a blogpost in regards to the recent murder of George Tiller, the abortionist who bragged about being willing and having practiced even late-term (3rd trimester) abortions more than 60,000 times in his blood-filled career. This is my thoughts from not only a biblical perspective, but from the perspective of a pastor who has seen the devastation that abortion causes on two sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
Who is wrong and who is right in the current battle? Is it the pro-choice or the pro-life camp? Each claim to have God on their side (especially the liberal religious pro-choice groups) even as evidenced by Tiller’s hypocritical service on Sundays as an usher. On the other hand, even evangelicals in the pro-life camp do not always see the big picture and get sucked into the philosophy of the world in attempt to justify certain actions.
However, what does God say in His Holy Word? The principle in no uncertain terms is this — two wrongs never make a right! What and who was wrong? Let’s look at a few points to consider.
1. The Old Testament law made it clear that those who shed blood by man would their blood be shed. Yes, we recognize that this was given under a theocracy and referred to the matter of capital punishment.
2. This law was not given to individuals to take justice into their own hands. Vengeance belongs to God alone.
3. God instituted human government so that the sword might not be carried in vain. However, human government is often corrupted and does not seek to gain their wisdom from the Almighty God, maker of heaven and earth.
4. True believers are commanded to give honour to the government but only as far as it does not supercede the law of God for we ought to obey God rather than man.
5. To kill another and take their life in premeditated murder is contrary to the moral law of God which proclaims, “Thou shalt not kill.” Thus taking the life of Tiller belonged to nobody but God.
6. The government must take part of the blame for the murder of this doctor for it was they who allowed him to practice the murder of innocent babies including those who would have been viable had he delivered them alive at the moment he was murdering them.
7. The government is to blame in that they have openly and willfully defied the commands of God in regards to God being the giver of life and that life begins at conception. They have stated that in the depths of their human wisdom they are nothing but fools when compared to the wisdom of the Most High. Our justices and judges are to blame as they flaunt their foolishness over and over despite the will of the people and more importantly despite the law of God.
8. The church and leadership of where Tiller was a member must take their part of the blame for they allowed a mass murderer in their midst each Sunday while proclaiming that what they were doing was worship to God. Yet, all they were doing was thumbing their noses at God and daring Him to bring judgment.
9. The church was to blame for allowing one to call himself a “Christian” when what he did was diametrically opposed to the Word of God and for not bringing church discipline into the equation many years ago. Instead they catered to many other factors probably to include the financial benefits that a rich man like Tiller brought into their coffers thus showing their the god they worshipped was the mammon of the world.
10. The man who pulled the trigger was to blame because it was a premeditated murder calculated to take the life of the man who had killed so many thousands. He probably justified in his head that he was to be the instrument of death.
11. America at large must take their part of the blame as well for her citizens have forgotten the principles upon which this great country was founded. They have forgotten that government is to be by the people and for the people. They have failed to use their votes to remove those who thumb their noses at God and flaunt His holy commands.
12. America is to blame for allowing the murder of millions to take place for the sake of a small vocal group of feminists who have been allowed to push their agenda on a gullible public.
13. America is to blame for the gross immorality and lack of morals which allow for men and women to have intimate relationships being driven by nothing but lust and hatred for the thought of commitment.
14. Many evangelicals are to blame because they think they have had the right to introduce situational ethics into the clear express teaching of Scripture. Many have decided that it is ok to punish the infant because of the sins of the father; therefore, abortion is murder UNLESS it is for the sake of rape or incest!
15. Evangelicals are to blame because they have not had a united front because many of them years ago decided that catering to man instead of preaching the infallible Word of God through faithful exposition of the Word is more favourable to large offerings. They took the passages they liked and left the ones they didn’t thus producing large congregations who have theology miles wide but 1/2 inch deep!!
16. Evangelicals are to blame because we have been a much larger moral voice than any other fringe group in America and yet we have not used our voices to take a stand for what is right. We have not expressed our disgust and rage at the senseless murder of millions! We have not followed in the footsteps of Nehemiah and fallen to our knees crying to God for forgiveness for our own sin, the sins of our families and the sins of our nation!
17. Many pastors are to blame because many fear man instead of God. They have become babysitters not shepherds. They fail to study the Scriptures and proclaim loudly, “THUS SAYS THE LORD.” Instead they choose to proclaim, “God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. This is your best life now. You can live anyway you wish to do so with no discipline from the church. You can do what you want to with your body and disregard the Scripture that says if you are a believer then your body belongs to God NOT TO YOU!”
Many are to blame for the events leading up to the killing of Tiller. Even though only one pulled the trigger, many more were just as wrong before God for their complacency or complicity in the occupation which Tiller chose to engage. God is and always will be the Sovereign of the universe. He will not be mocked and whatsoever a man sows that will he reap. While God is not the author of sin, He does control what He allows to happen and He obviously has allowed the life of this murderer to be taken. Judgment for Tiller will now commence for all of eternity at the hands of the Giver of Life.
To conclude, I would not be honest if I said that I mourn for the killing of a murderer because I do not. To the contrary, I rejoice that the lives of thousands of infants will be spared. However, I must have a sense of compassion though for his family who must grieve although they enjoyed the fruits of not allowing others to grieve and enjoyed the fruits of blatant murder on a weekly basis. As a true believer, I must grieve that America has come to the dismal state she has and that millions like Tiller are dying every day with no hope of eternal life, and no hope of anything but eternal judgment and condemnation from the righteous Lord of glory.
Soli Deo Gloria,
The Desert Pastor
This past Sunday morning abortionist George Tiller was gunned down in his church where he served as an usher (that’s another whole issue). In the wake of this event, the pro-life groups have quickly worked on damage control in an attempt to make it known to the world that they disapprove of Tiller’s murder. So much so, I’m afraid, that it seems to be the overarching theme of all their commentaries and interviews on the issue, overshadowing the legacy of death this wicked man left behind. Resulting in (yet again) all the focus of the abortion debate being diverted to everything but the countless babies victimized by this horrific evil.
While the pro-lifers are busy making every effort to show just how virtuous they are by denouncing Tiller’s death, the pro-abortionists, on the other hand, are gearing up to capitalize on this event by:
* Using it as a distraction from the ever-increasing body count of babies murdered in this country at the hands of Tiller and others like him.
* Exploiting Tiller’s death to help enact legislation for the censorship and even criminalization of any views that oppose this barbaric “right.”
* Gaining the sympathy (and thus changing public opinion) of the masses of lemmings (most of which are eligible to vote) who don’t question what they’re told or know how to think for themselves, but instead prefer to be told what to think via such outlets as the evening news.
So I pose a question for those on the pro-life side and a question for those on the pro-death side:
For the pro-life community who are falling all over each other to denounce this killer’s murder, I have the following question: Would you have been–with equal fervor–so anxious to be the loudest voice denouncing the murder of say . . . Heinrich Himmler, Josef Mengele, Adolf Hitler (or any others directly involved in the Nazi death camps) had they been stopped by a gunman?
And for the pro-abortion community who’s currently lamenting Tiller’s murder, I have this question: How would you feel if George Tiller, instead of being killed in church, had instead been murdered in his mother’s womb by an abortionist?
If man is merely a glorified single-celled organism run amok, he has no inherent worth, value, or dignity; ultimately man is then merely a cosmic accident, and the human community bestows any value he has upon him. It is not difficult to see how this would lead to a radical view on abortion. Peter Singer, a renowned bioethicist at Princeton University, argues that abortion should be legal prior to “personhood.” What makes this shocking is that Singer’s definition of personhood would carry the abortion question not into the second or third trimester of a pregnancy but into the second year after birth. That’s right, by Singer’s definition my thirteen-month-old son (due to the fact that he cannot communicate or sustain his own life without help) has not yet reached personhood, and to take his life now would be no more problematic than a pre-birth abortion. While this is shocking, I must ask a question: What is the difference between my thirteen-month-old son and a six-month-old fetus? The answer is, location. If it is acceptable to kill a child in the womb, it is also acceptable to do so outside the womb. Peter Singer is not being morbid, he is being consistent.

Yet another story of a baby abandoned in a trash can. A couple differences in this story from the others out there: This happened in an airplane and the mother and the child she attempted to kill have been “reunited.” Huh?
Gates-Bowey said late Thursday the woman had undergone surgery at Auckland‘s Middlemore Hospital and was later reunited with her baby. Its gender has not been disclosed.
“We are relieved to have been informed that both mother and child are reunited, are well and are now being looked after in hospital,” Pacific Blue said in a statement Thursday.

Ingrid Schlueter has given three cheers to the Catholics for their valiant fight against the billion dollar baby butcher business (while evangelicals are becoming increasingly silent on the issue of abortion).
I too would like to chime in on this issue: I wholeheartedly disagree with the soul-damning false gospel of the Roman Catholic institution, but I have to ask why they continue to fight for the unborn while evangelicals have fallen silent? I believe part of it is that Roman Catholicism is a works-based false religion and thus, its adherents must strive to win God’s favor by their works and what’s more “favorable” to God than protecting the unborn? I believe that the problem on the other side of the coin is that many evangelicals have become so relevant and accommodating to the world that they’ve absorbed the world’s standards, morals, wisdom, and ways and can no longer be distinguished from the world.
As the Catholics continue to take a stand against this murderous rampage perpetrated upon the most defenseless class in our society, many evangelicals have begun to support the shedding of innocent blood by their collective silence and some even voted for our current pro-abortion commander in chief. By abandoning the fight for life, evangelicals actually lend support to the heinous act of abortion.
The church that remains silent on the issue is no better than those whose murderous ways are furthered by such silence.
This is the face of a cold-blooded murderer of innocent, defenseless children.
DefCon first reported on this horrendous story here. Now, not only do we have a picture of this evil monster who has the blood of the innocent on her hands, but we also have an update on the story.
Belkis Gonzalez was finally arrested in relation to the murder of a child in 2006 after the baby–intended to be murdered in the womb legally–was born alive and was then murdered outside the womb illegally (if that makes any sense).
The mother of the child was 23 weeks pregnant.
Unfortunately, Belkis Gonzalez is not being charged with murder, infanticide, child abuse, child neglect, or even battery. She’s only being charged with practicing medicine without a license and tampering with evidence. Why? Because:
Authorities were unable to definitively determine the cause of death — and Gonzalez’s role in it — preventing the State Attorney’s Office from charging her with murder or manslaughter, Griffith said.
I think there’s enough reasonable suspicion to charge her with murder based on this quote:
The teenage mother, Sycloria Williams, has filed a lawsuit alleging that Gonzalez knocked the infant off the chair where she had given birth, and then scooped the baby, placenta and afterbirth into a red plastic biohazard bag, and threw it out.
Read more of the update here.
Unlike the child that survived an attempted “legal” abortion only to have her life snuffed out in a trash can by a cold-blooded abortion clinic staff member (see here), this latest story ends on a much better note.
In the latest saga of mothers who murder their own children, meet 19 year-old Sarah Tatum, a pre-business sophomore at the University of Arizona.
Finding herself pregnant and certainly not wanting to ruin her future dreams and hopes by being burdened with a baby (or “punished with a baby” as our new president would say), she decided to conceal the pregnancy.
Then the inevitable came . . . the beautiful child expecting to be welcomed into the loving arms of his/her mother actually found him/herself coming into the world in a shower, only to be quickly stuffed into a plastic bag like trash to be discarded; never to be seen again (like the moral conscience of this nation).
Fortunately, in God’s providence, other students intervened when they–simply thinking the bag contained bloody clothes–actually saw the bag moving!
Police had to cut the bag open to save the defenseless human being trapped inside. The child was taken to a local hospital where he/she is still alive.
Read the news article here.
This incident causes outrage from those who hear about it, but we would have never heard a thing had Ms. Tatum went to a professional baby murderer and paid to have them rip the child limb from limb from the safety and sanctity of her womb.
So I scratch my head in bewilderment as Ms. Tatum is now being charged with child abuse and attempted first-degree murder. Why? Didn’t Ms. Tatum simply exercise her “freedom of choice” to kill her own offspring like 4,000 women do every day in this nation?
Had she went that morning to her local Planned Parenthood and paid them to kill her baby no one would have batted an eye. But because she chose to do it herself, she’s now going to be criminally charged. Someone please explain the “logic” of that to me.
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight!

The following excellent piece was written by Matt Barber and was found on WorldNetDaily:
Modern-day liberals – or “progressives” as they more discreetly prefer – labor under an awkward misconception; namely, that there is anything remotely “progressive” about the fundamental canons of their blind, secular-humanist faith. In fact, today’s liberalism is largely a sanitized retread of an antiquated mythology – one that significantly predates the only truly progressive movement: biblical Christianity.
While visiting the Rivermont Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Lynchburg, Va., a few weeks back, I heard a troubling, albeit thought-provoking, sermon. Pastor John Mabray addressed the ancient Canaanite practice of Baal worship and, though he didn’t reveal it by name, connected the dots to its present-day progeny: liberalism. Baal, the half-bull, half-man god of fertility, was the focal point of pagan idolatry in Semitic Israel until God revealed His monotheistic nature to Judaism’s forebears.
In his sermon, Pastor Mabray illustrated that, although they’ve now assumed a more contemporary flair, the fundamentals of Baal worship remain alive and well today. The principal pillars of Baalism were child sacrifice, sexual immorality (both heterosexual and homosexual) and pantheism (reverence of creation over the Creator).
Ritualistic Baal worship, in sum, looked a little like this: Adults would gather around the altar of Baal. Infants would then be burned alive as a sacrificial offering to the deity. Amid horrific screams and the stench of charred human flesh, congregants – men and women alike – would engage in bisexual orgies. The ritual of convenience was intended to produce economic prosperity by prompting Baal to bring rain for the fertility of “mother earth.”
The natural consequences of such behavior – pregnancy and childbirth – and the associated financial burdens of “unplanned parenthood” were easily offset. One could either choose to engage in homosexual conduct or – with child sacrifice available on demand – could simply take part in another fertility ceremony to “terminate” the unwanted child.

A Muslim husband has been charged with murder for killing his wife by beheading her. Where did this happen? Iran? Saudi Arabia? Philippines?
No.
It happened right here in the United States. Via Domain For Truth:
Orchard Park police are investigating a particularly gruesome killing, the beheading of a woman, after her husband — an influential member of the local Muslim community — reported her death to police Thursday.
Police identified the victim as Aasiya Z. Hassan, 37. Detectives have charged her husband, Muzzammil Hassan, 44, with second-degree murder.
Muzzammil Hassan, founder of Bridges TV, is charged with murder in the beheading of his wife, Aasiya Hassan, in Orchard Park.
Btw, Muzzammil Hassan is the founder of Bridges TV. The purpose of Bridges TV is to potray Muslims and Islam in a positive light after 9/11. I guess they are not reporting this.
Daniel Pipes gives a good commentary on the whole event.
Here’s a link to all the commentaries on Quranic and Hadith verses on murdering, violence and terrorism.
Here is a New York Sun article about Bridges TV from last month.
Posterity will discover the truth — that most Christians of our generation, including Christian leaders, advocated the cutting off of the godly seed and unwittingly embraced the culture of death, by distorting the natural purposes of their bodies and thwarting the blessings of the womb. The result is a generation of males stripped of their manhood and women with empty wombs. The Bible calls debt a curse and children a blessing, but our culture applies for curses and rejects blessings. This will be the tragic legacy of far too many Christians.

This shocking story out of Florida of the murder of a child under the pretense of “choice” is proof enough for me that there’s a Hell. For if there was no punishment for this wickedness God would fail to be just.
And on a side note, had the murderous blood-shedding “doctor” arrived on time and the baby girl was executed the “normal” way, this would have never made the news. So what’s the difference?
Three men.
Three quotes.
Who said it?
“I am opposed to abortion and to government funding of abortions. We should not spend state funds on abortions because so many people believe abortion is wrong.”
“There are those who argue that the right to privacy is of [a] higher order than the right to life … that was the premise of slavery. You could not protest the existence or treatment of slaves on the plantation because that was private and therefore outside your right to be concerned.
What happens to the mind of a person, and the moral fabric of a nation, that accepts the aborting of the life of a baby without a pang of conscience? What kind of a person and what kind of a society will we have 20 years hence if life can be taken so casually? It is that question, the question of our attitude, our value system, and our mind-set with regard to the nature and worth of life itself that is the central question confronting mankind. Failure to answer that question affirmatively may leave us with a hell right here on earth.”
“While the deep concern of a woman bearing an unwanted child merits consideration and sympathy, it is my personal feeling that the legalization of abortion on demand is not in accordance with the value which our civilization places on human life. Wanted or unwanted, I believe that human life, even at its earliest stages, has certain rights which must be recognized — the right to be born, the right to love, the right to grown old.
I share the confidence of those who feel that America is working to care for its unwanted as well as wanted children, protecting particularly those who cannot protect themselves. I also share the opinions of those who do not accept abortion as a response to our society’s problems — an inadequate welfare system, unsatisfactory job training programs, and insufficient financial support for all its citizens.
When history looks back to this era it should recognize this generation as one which cared about human beings enough to halt the practice of war, to provide a decent living for every family and to fulfill its responsibility to its children from the very moment of conception.”

Just two days before the 36th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, this country welcomes its most pro-abortion president to the White House; one who supports the murder of children even outside of the womb. With help from those who profess to be Christians, we have received the king that we’ve demanded; a king this nation deserves; a king whose coronation will be celebrated by a massive planned homosexual orgy in our nation’s capital and a $170 million dollar inauguration (while the rest of the country suffers from unemployment and recession). Four legs good, two legs bad.
People, your king has arrived; may God have mercy on His own.

While Americans celebrate Martin Luther King Junior Day and reflect upon his famous “I have a dream” speech, let us not forget another “dream”: The dream of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger who called blacks “human weeds, reckless breeders” and “human beings who never should have been born.“ More of this woman’s “progressive” and “tolerant” remarks can be found here.
