Todd Bentley
Todd Bentley’s message: Believe in THE angel.
“Lord, why can’t I just move in healing and forget talking about all that other stuff? He said, ‘Because Todd, you got to get the people to believe in the angel.’ I said God, why do I want people to believe in the angel, isn’t it about getting the people to believe in Jesus? He said, ‘The people already believe in Jesus, but the church doesn’t believe in the supernatural.’ The church has no problem believing in Jesus, what we don’t believe in is the supernatural. We don’t believe in angels, we don’t believe in the prophetic, we don’t believe in what’s going on, and I’ll tell you what, we need to have an awakening.”
– Todd Bentley
Notice how Todd Bentley claims “God” told him that he needs to get the people to believe in “the angel” and not “angels”? Anyone want to guess what “angel” he’s speaking about?
No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Brown Eyes Like Bambi!!??
HT: Independent Conservative – The whole message by Patricia King (a new-age kook) and Todd Bentley is drivel, but Todd’s revelation starts at about 2:40 into the video clip!
Hard to believe that so many people actually take these fruit and nuts seriously! Have a great Wednesday!
I’m Hopping Mad At How Irresponsible This Local Mega-Church Is!
Some of you might not notice that, unlike my good brethren who are co-authors on DefCon, I don’t hail from the United States or the Western hemisphere, but from Singapore (a prosperous tiny island state in South-East Asia).
Singapore is much like the United States when we compare the Christian landscape in both territories: we also have our mega-churches preaching the prosperity gospel and which support the likes of Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, et al.
Just last weekend, a local mega-church which I have often berated for their prosperity gospel — City Harvest Church which is helmed by the pastor Kong Hee — invited a certain Che Ahn to speak and minister “healing” to the congregation, which consists primarily of young, impressionable people and which number (according to their bulletins and announcements) about 23,000.
While doing some research on Che Ahn, I was troubled to find out that Che Ahn is very closely associated with Bentley, and has even pronounced a “prophecy”1 on the latter.
The more troubling issue is this: why would City Harvest Church, having knowledge of this close relationship between Che Ahn and Bentley (who is obviously a liar, charlatan and false prophet) invite the former to guest-speak to their congregation?
To me, the incident doesn’t speak well of the level of discernment of the leadership at the church, since Bentley’s lies and obvious lack of Biblical truth have been called out by so many, including respected leaders in Christendom.
Moreover, inviting this pastor Che Ahn2 to speak at the church might even expose many, including countless non-believers who are usually invited to such services, to untold horrors because this whole Bentley movement isn’t of God, but is even demonic!
One needs question why a church in Singapore would bring such liars and false prophets to minister to its congregation, especially since I understand that much of the congregation consists of the young and impressionable.
Here’s Che Ahn supporting Todd Bentley at the latter’s “outpouring” ministry at Lakeland, Florida:
Bob Jones?! Alarm bells… they are a-ringing…
Prophecy of a third wave confirmed by a huge crashing wave at their feet? What is this guy talking about? Which fantasy is he living out? If they were indeed 200 feet from the sea, that’d be about 60 meters inland from the shoreline. Now, for a wave to come crashing in right at their feet like that… erm, do you think, hm… it could be, like, a tsunami?!
I’d be running for my life, but not these guys; no, they are heroes who recount miracles like they were just common occurrences like taking out the trash or, when it comes to meeting angels, meeting your neighbor across the street.
By the way, did Todd say “holy goat” near the end of the video, or do my ears need cleaning? “Freudian slip” perhaps?
The alarm bells have become screaming sirens now…
Nothing tumbling out from the mouths of this duo is even remotely Biblical!
People used to berate me for lamenting about the prosperity gospel preached at City Harvest Church, but this is different… when a church willfully and knowingly exposes its congregation (which I might add is about 23,000-strong) to such dark powers, one needs to start asking hard questions of the leadership and demanding answers, ensuring that they are accountable!
Well, it looks like Todd Bentley and company have now crossed into Asia.
It’s worrying indeed. Very worrying!

Sheek a boom bah?
This short video breaks my heart. The abuse that these parents put their two precious children through by forcing them to come face to face with such evil raises up a righteous indignation within me. “I don’t want you to touch me” the one girl pleads through her tears, yet they all just laugh as they subject these children to the legion within Bentley. Why are these parents so blind to what their children can plainly see? If this is a move of God, the children would not be so frightened. What more proof do you need?
Todd Bentley: Naturally doing what false prophets do.
Birds fly.
Fish swim.
Kangaroos hop.
False prophets falsely prophesy about Christ’s second coming.
But why let a little thing like being a false prophet slow you down? Just look at Charles Taze Russell and Joseph Smith; they both falsely prophesied Christ’s return but their cults are alive and well today.
I received a prophetic Word from the Lord for Todd Bentley and his followers. You can read it here.
Worship at Bentley’s.
Some of you may have been wondering what “worship” was like at the Lakeland “revival.” But most of you (like me) probably didn’t care. However, as a public service for those who were wondering, I’ve decided to provide you with a video that should satisfy your curiosity (and sicken your stomach).
I couldn’t sit through the whole 4 minutes of this pagan-looking, Woodstock-style, hippie-like, drug-induced gyrating so I skipped ahead. You may want to as well.
Now will someone please explain to me what the woman begins doing at 3:28 into the video and why? Will any Bentley-ite out there please provide me with Scriptural support (not only for this woman’s actions throughout the whole video) but specifically for what she does at that point in the video. And you can’t use, “King David did it” with this one!
24 Questions for Charismatics and followers of Todd Bentley.
This post is for Todd Bentley supporters and all Charismatics. I have 24 questions for you and would like serious answers only. If you should choose to take up this challenge I have only one condition; that you don’t just pick and choose the questions you want to answer (much like many do with verses of Scripture) but if you want to answer one, I request that you take a stab at them all.
These questions will require the use of your Bible and some will only seek your opinion. Are you up to the task? If so, let’s begin:
1). If a modern-day prophet says one thing and the Bible says another (opposing/opposite) which do you follow?
2). Why if God spoke “long ago” through prophets, but now in the last days speaks to us through His Son (Hebrews 1:1) do we still chase after men like Todd Bentley?
3). If the temple veil was ripped in two (Matthew 27:51) and God is not to be found in any one particular place on earth (Acts 7:48), but is now available to any true believer anywhere, why must we go to a certain church, event or venue in order to “come get some?”
4). God sent prophets to the Jews up until the 400 years of silence preceding Jesus Christ, (whom to this day the Jews still reject). Why don’t those who know the standard of prophets best (the Jewish people) continue to “raise up” and chase after prophets like the Charismatics do continually? Why do the Jews continue to patiently wait for their Messiah (which they missed 2,000 years ago) while the Charismatics keep chasing after the next big prophet? What do the Jews understand about a true prophet of God that Charismatics seem to keep missing?
5). Why if the Church is instructed in 1 Corinthians 14:40 to conduct itself “properly and in an orderly manner” do Charismatics refuse to accept this and instead we see the antics, shenanigans, and circus-like atmosphere in these self-proclaimed movements of God?
6). When Charismatics use the “my God is the same yesterday, today and forever” argument in the context that they commonly use it, why do they then no longer stone false prophets to death?
7). Why do Charismatics keep proclaiming the coming of a great revival in these last days when this is in direct opposition to the revealed Word of God which says that a great falling away will occur in the last days (2 Thessalonians 2:3)? Where does it say that the return of Christ is preceded by a great healing revival?
8). Pharisees and Sadducees tested Jesus asking Him to show them a sign (Matthew 16:1, Luke 11:16, John 2:18, John 6:30). Do you think this is a good thing or a bad thing?
9). Why do those seeking a sign in Mark 8:11-12 cause Jesus to “sigh deeply in His Spirit”?
10). Why are those seeking signs and wonders (Matthew 12:38-39, Matthew 16:4, Luke 11:29) referred to by Jesus as evil, wicked, and adulterous?
11). Was Jesus saying the need to see signs and wonders was a good thing in John 4:48?
12). Was Paul implying the need to see signs was a good thing in 1 Corinthians 1:22?
13). Why do Charismatics always use Peter’s sermon in Acts chapter 2 (quoting Joel) to justify the tongues and prophecies they perform while excluding the other events like the sun turning dark and the moon turning to blood (v. 20)?
14). If it is God’s will that we should be healthy and wealthy, why did Paul suffer so much (2 Corinthians 11:23-27, 12:7-10)?
15). Isn’t seeking to be healthy, wealthy, and comfortable in this life a direct contradiction to God’s way of testing the faith of a believer and producing endurance in the life of a believer (James 1:2-4)?
16). Jesus addressed the fact that we are not greater than He, and since He suffered, we (true Christians) should expect the same (John 15:20, Matthew 10:24-25). Why do Charismatics ignore this and cling to the false notion that any suffering is of the Devil?
17). Why do the only two prophets directly referred to in Scripture in the last days (Revelation 11) perform no healings? Instead they do exactly the opposite of what all the “prophets” of today do; the very things most Charismatics would say is from the Devil. Why is that?
18). Why does the Bible repeatedly identify the existence of and warn us about false prophets (Matthew 7:15, 24:11, 24:24, Mark 13:22, Luke 6:26, Acts 13:6, 2 Peter 2:1-3, 1 John 4:1, etc.)?
19). In the end many false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders to mislead many (Matthew 24:24, Mark 13:22). Why do most Charismatics refuse to accept this, and if they do accept it, they never accept that this could be referring to their favorite prophet?
20). Is there any “sign and wonder” that you can point to that is false/counterfeit from Satan? Or do all “signs and wonders” come from God only?
21). Can Satan and his servants appear as “good” or do they always come to us as easily identifiable “bad” spirits (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)?
22). Is the great and visible sign performed in Revelation 13:13 a good thing from God or a counterfeit from Satan?
23). Can Satan and those in accord with his activity perform signs and wonders and exhibit power (Exodus 7:11-12, 2 Thessalonians 2:9)?
24). What is the more common theme of the Bible regarding the prophets with accompanying signs and wonders?
A). The presence of signs and wonders are proof of them being true prophets of God.
B). That false prophets will mislead many and they will use signs and wonders.
Todd Bentley: Messenger Of God?
From FinalTrumpet at YouTube:
Todd Bentley has been a leader in the “Lakeland Revival” currently being heralded as a great move of God. Analysis of Bentley and what he preaches show that he is not what he claims.
The analysis this video provides is in relation to his explanation of a supernatural encounter he had. Critical analysis of the encounter shows that he not only did not use biblical instruction to “test the spirits” but that the encounter was not of God. His “encounter” matches UFO abduction testimonials and seems to be more of a “close encounter” than one with God. And those have proven to be satanic/demonic at their core.
So the big question is can a man who has occultic/demonic encounters and claiming they are of God be teaching Truth? I think these videos will show that his message is not of God as is this “revival” of false signs and wonders.
This is part 1 of a series of five videos so far:
You can catch parts 2, 3, 4 and 5 at FinalTrumpet’s page on YouTube, which suggest, along with video evidence, how Todd Bentley is actually practicing Kundalini.
All things must be done properly and in an orderly manner.
Watch the following short videos (the longest one is just over a minute in duration) and see if they adhere to Paul’s admonition in 1 Corinthians 14:40 “But all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner.”
A prophetic word from the Lord for Todd Bentley supporters.
While reading my Bible around 1am on May 29th, I received a Word from the Lord regarding all the controversy and debate surrounding Todd Bentley. This Prophetic Word that I received is for Bentley’s followers and supporters. It is found in its entirety below.
Thus says the Lord:
Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told you in advance.
Not everyone who says to Me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in Heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?” And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.”
Now, as any good Christian should do, (like the Bereans in Acts 17:11), do not just accept this Prophetic Word without verifying its truth by testing it against the revealed word of God in the Scriptures. For your convenience I’ve listed Scripture references below for you to check to assure that this Prophetic Word is truly from the Lord and not a counterfeit spirit.
Matthew 7:13-14 / John 10:1-5 / 1 Timothy 4:1 / 2 Thessalonians 2:11
2 Timothy 4:3-4 / Matthew 24:24-25 / Matthew 7:21-23
Todd Bentley’s disturbing account of his demonic visitation.
This two-part video is the best examination I’ve seen of Todd Bentley thus far. And one of the most disturbing! I encourage all believers to watch this video, especially those who are following the pied pipings of Bentley.
This video is of Bentley recounting his experience he claims he had with beings that he calls “angels.” He tells of being beamed up through a ceiling and placed onto an operating table in Heaven (seriously) where these “angels” strapped him down and cut him open (seriously).
If you want to know more about what possesses Todd Bentley I believe this two-part video says it all. I’m thinking “Legion.”
Part One:
Part Two: (This video has images depicting alien abduction that can be disturbing)
My demon possessed false prophet can out-sign-and-wonder your demon possessed false prophet.
Just when you thought Romanism had the market on stigmata and liquids oozing from statues, the signs and wonders wolves in this video are now giving the superstitious Roman Catholics and Charismatic Bentley-ites a run for their money.
Let’s see Todd Bentley do this:
What possesses Todd Bentley?
After watching this video (especially after the five-minute mark) I am thoroughly convinced that this is nothing other than pure demonic possession and you are witnessing demonic manifestations taking place.
Especially look for the unnatural almost non-human way Todd Bentley’s head twitches, quivers, and shakes uncontrollably. You can also see this same phenomenon occur in this short video.
When false teachers collide . . .
. . . one is bound to end up on the floor flopping around like a demon possessed fish-out-of-water.
What happens when a false priest representing the Church of England meets a false prophet representing the church of self?
Bentley ends this spectacle repeating a word over and over again and I can’t help but wonder if he’s prophesying of what he sees in his own future.
Straight Reporting From Someone Who Once Trusted Todd Bentley
Pray for Dawn that God continues to help her discern the falsehoods that Todd Bentley is peddling, and may this testimony from her reach many others who might still be blinded by the circus.
I have attended this revival for many weeks. In fact, I have been there since the second night of Todd’s meetings (4/2/08), long before this became “revival”. Initially, I was so excited to see God move in such a mighty way. I was encouraging my pastor, several other pastors that I know, many friends and family members to “come and see what God is doing.” There were few times when I was uncomfortable with what was happening in the meetings, but I figured that I was just being critical and reminded myself that God’s ways are not my ways. I continued to support this revival, even after I heard my own pastor voice his concerns. I was quite vocal about these misgivings others had. I continued to defend Todd, God, etc., etc.
However, as time as passed, I have become increasing concerned about several things. First of all, I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years (in radiology). I have noticed that there have only been a very few “documented” miracles in comparison to the numbers that have claimed miracles. I am aware of at least two claims of healing that I believe to have possibly been real. There was the child with the elbow fracture and her x-rays. However, I would like to know the dates between the first set of x-rays and the 2nd, as healing, especially with very young children can be quite quick…especially if it was very mild fracture. Also, I would love to see the type of fracture, position, and the view (AP, lateral, etc.) of the second set of films. (Sometimes a particular view will not show the fracture that is actually there.) There was also a young man who testified one night (before TV/internet) about being healed from Hepatitis C, with the lab work to confirm. Again, with false positive/negatives that can happen with labs. I’d love to see what his actual lab values were and see a retesting to confirm. Although I do believe that this individual could very well have been healed, but because of how I’ve seen other things handled in this revival, I would just like to see more documentation.
Much of the “miracles” that I have seen over the weeks have been based more on what people believe that have happened, more than medically documented miracles. Many times over I have seen people with metal rods in their spine be “healed”. Todd will ask, what couldn’t you do, and usually has them bend over. This act of bending over is declared as a miracle. It is not. Most folks with metal rods in their back or neck CAN bend over, as these rods (Harrington rods) very seldom go the entire length of the spine. In fact, I have metal plates/screws in my neck and can bend my head from side to side and front to back. I remember one night when a woman with bulging discs in her neck came up to declare her healing. Todd felt along her spine and said “I don’t feel any bulging discs in your neck”, and then announced she had been healed. A disc bulge is something that you will NOT detected by running your hand up and down the spine. It is not something that can be physically palpated. Only imaging with MRI or CT would show the presence of disc bulges and if they were compressing nerve roots or affecting the spinal cord/spinal canal. I saw where this declaration of healing caused the room the go wild. My feeling is that if this is truly a bonafied healing…PRAISE GOD! But let’s confirm these miracles. That is what the world really needs to see! But alas, very few healings are actually being confirmed.
Secondly, my concern is the focus that has been placed on Angels, visitations, manifestations, etc. Although Jesus is mentioned throughout the night, though an altar call is given… far more emphasis is being placed on these other things than is acutally being given to the Jesus and him crucified (as Paul would say). The cross, the resurrection, holiness, repentance, dying to the flesh, etc., are merely glossed over and not really preached. What is being given more time, more emphasis are these other “experiences”.
The atmosphere here has changed from the very first meetings…at least it seems to me. And as I said earlier, I have been at revival since April 3rd…the 2nd night Todd was here in Lakeland. Something is wrong and I am concerned. Somehow the gospel that saves and keeps is not being preached as it should. Jesus…not even the Holy Spirit… is to be focus. In the Gospel of John, it says the when the comforter (Holy Spirit) would come, it would not speak of himself, but of Jesus. My concern is growing. I think we need to really pray and ask for discernment. I’m all for revival. I am all for miracles. But is there another Jesus, another gospel that is being preached here?
